Anima Weapons are a new series of ultimate weapons that has been introduced along with Final Fantasy XIV’s first expansion, Heavensward. The players can obtain Anima Weapons in Final Fantasy XIV through a bunch of steps, especially by completing some quests.

The List of Anima Weapons in Final Fantasy XIV!

There are at least five stages that you need to pass to get Anima Weapons in Final Fantasy XIV. The individual steps for each weapon can only be performed with one job at a time. Let’s see the list of Anima Weapons in Final Fantasy XIV below!

Animated Anima Weapons

You must be at level 60 with a Discipline of War or Discipline of Magic and also complete the Heavensward Quest. Then, you also should complete the one-time quest called An Unexpected Proposal. After that, you also have to complete Soul Without Life for each relic that you want to gain.

Aside from that, you have to get an Astral Nodule and an Umbral Nodule from Syndony in Mor Dhona.

Awoken Weapons (iLvl 200)

If you want to upgrade for each weapon that you get from Animated weapon, you will need to complete a Toughening Up quest that will allow you to complete 10 dungeons. In the case of completing 10 dungeons including Snowcloak, Sastasha (Hard), Sunken Temple of Qarn, The Keeper of the Lake, Wanderer’s Palace (Hard), Amdapor Keep (Hard), Dusk Vigil, Sohm Al, The Aery and The Vault.

Once completing all ten dungeons, you can then turn in the quest to upgrade your weapon. Here’s a list of Awoken Weapons of Anima (iLvl 200):

Anima Weapons

To complete ‘Coming into Its Own’ quest, you have to collect 40 items in total, as follow:

    • 10 x Unidentifiable Bone
    • 10 x Unidentifiable Shell
    • 10 x Unidentifiable Ore
    • 10 x Unidentifiable Seeds
    • 4 x Adamantite Francesca
    • 4 x Titanium Alloy Mirror
    • 4 x Dispelling Arrow
    • 4 x Kingcake

You can then trade those items with Christiana in Mor Dhona for the items that you have to turn into to upgrade your weapon.

Hyperconductive Anima Weapons (iLvl 230)

You just simply purchase 5 x Aether Oil from Sundry Splendors for 350 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics each to complete the ‘Finding Your Voice’ quest. You can then turn them into complete quests and upgrade your weapon.

Aside from that, you can also perform The Gift of the Archmagus. Because it is far less efficient, you will need to run each of the three Crystal Tower alliance raids per Aether Oil for 15 runs in total.

Reconditioned Anima Weapons (iLvl 240)

The step to get Anima Weapons through the Reconditioned method is a bit more involved. You will have to gather Umbrite and Crystal Sand to complete A Dream Fulfilled. The exact amount will vary because of RNG, but it will commonly be 60x – 75x of each.

To purchase Umbrite, you have to spend around 75 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics each (4500 – 5625 in total). To get Crystal Sand, you may need to trade with Ulan , a NPC that you can find in Idyllshire for certain items. Each trade will give you 2 Crystal Sand.

Here are the required items that you will need for trade:

    • 5 x Blue Crafters’ Scrip Token (125 White Crafters’ Scrip total)
    • 5 x Blue Gatherers’ Scrip Token (125 White Gatherers’ Scrip)
    • 5 x Superior Enchanted Ink and 5 x Thavnairian Mist (225 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics total)

After you have obtained the items, you can then speak with Ulan to make Refined Crystal Sand and upgrade the stats on your weapon. After the step is complete, you can then turn in the quest and upgrade your weapon.

You will have to gather and turn in 50 Singing Clusters to complete Future Proof. You can obtain them for the following sources:

    • Buy from Sundry Splendors for 40 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics each or 2,000 total
    • I x from the Daily Quest called ‘Cut from a Different Cloth’
    • 18 x from the Weekly Quest called ‘Seeking Inspiration’
