In the game called Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, there are a few special Alpha animals that can be hunted by players for rewards. All of them are different compared to the ones that you find in the wild as they have both special models and lore attached to them.
There are nine animals in total that can be found and defeated. If you manage to hunt all of them you will be able to unlock the Master Hunter Trophy or Achievement. Here is the guide that you can follow if you want to find all the Legendary Alpha Animals in AC Valhalla.
As stated before, there are nine Alpha animals in total that you are able to find throughout the different areas of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. These kinds of creatures live in special boss areas that will trigger a fight with the animal when you enter. They will show up as paws on your map when you approach them if you have settings on in the game that displays exploration dots. Here is the list of the included animals:
- Elk of Bloody Peaks
- Black Shuck
- The Corpse Feeders
- Beast of the Hills
- Gemad-Wulf
- Aelfred’s Battle-Sow
- The Blood Swine
- Bear of Blue Waters
- Wildcats of the Weald
As stated in the previous paragraph, finding and defeating those animals included in the list will unlock the Master Hunter Trophy or Achievement. Each of them that you hunt will drop a head that you are able to give to Wallace at the Hunter’s Hut in your settlement in order to unlock the special decorations in the Longhouse.
These followings are more information on each of the legendary animals. Please keep in mind that the order is how it is presented in the Hunter’s Log. The order itself follows the level of every listed animal. On the other words, you are free to fight whichever animal that you want every time you want.
Elk of Bloody Peaks
The first legendary animal that you are able to hunt is located in the Norway map of the map. This one has a low recommended power and introduces you to the Alpha animal system. If you see the map, the exact location is clearly seen. It is able to be found in the Norway map’s Rygkafylke area. You will be able to see the elk in its boss area when you reach this place. Please enter the arena to trigger the fight against this legendary one.
Black Shuck
There are some legendary animals across the big map once you have reached England. They come in all power rangers with many being up in the 300 range. Black Shuck is the first England legendary animal that you can hunt. You can find it in old ruins in the East Anglia area of England in some old ruins.
The Corpse Feeders
You can find this trio of wolves terrorizing a village in the Oxenefordscire area of England. Unlike the previous ones, you will need to defeat three wolves during this fight in order to complete it. If you want to challenge yourself against the trio, please go to the location.
Beast of the Hills
If it is stressful to fight a trio of wolves, the next legendary animal that you can try is the Beast of the Hills. You can find this bear drinking deep in the Uriconium Ruins in the Sciropescire area of England. You will enter the boss arena when you crawl under the wall in the ruins. Even though the bear does not mess around, please get ready to fight as soon as you enter.
Gemad-Wulf
Gemand-Wulf can be found in some old ruins in the Licolnscire area of England. The fight with it will trigger when you enter the ruins. This one is the first boss fight that introduces adds. The smaller wolves will come to help when you eliminate the wolf’s health.
Aelfred’s Battle-Sow
The first high level legendary animal is called Aelfred’s Battle-Sow. As you can guess from its name, it is located in the field of the farmer in the Suthsexe area of England. In that place, you will find a big cow that you need to fight as well as some smaller bulls.
The Blood Swine
The Blood Swine is good to keep the livestock theme going. This home can be found in the swampy area of Eurviscire in England, the place with dense foliage which could make finding it a bit hard. You will be attacked right away when you enter its boss arena.
Bear of Blue Waters
In order to find the legendary polar bear known as the Bear of the Blue Waters, you will have to make your way back to Norway. On the starting line, please go to the Hordafylke. There are some islands that you can find along the west coast. The polar bear is able to be found on a small island.
Wildcats of the Weald
There are actually two animals of the last animal that you have to hunt if you want to get the Master Hunter Trophy or Achievement. Known as the Wildcats of the Weald, you can find these two in the Hamtunscire area of England. If you want to complete this legendary animal hunt, all that you need to do is to defeat boss the young and old wildcats.
Those are the information about all nine (currently) legendary animals in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Once again, you must go to the hunting places mentioned above to unlock the Master Hunter Trophy or Achievement. When you are at one of the sites, please defeat the animal that you find there. The trophy or achievement will appear once you have defeated all of them.
Other than the trophy or achievement, hunting these nine animals will also reward you some other benefits. When each of them is killed, resources will be dropped, which is an easy way to get leather. In addition, you will also earn XP that can be used to unlock skills.
