How to find Medusa in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
To find Medusa, you are able to start the quest in Eresos, in the Petrified Valley on Lesbos. Here, the quest Romancing the Stone Garden is going to start. There is a crowd of yelling people in this place.
The players are going to speak to a woman called Bryce who has lost her beloved, Ligeia, in the Petrified Temple in the Petrified Forest. Usually, Bryce meets Ligeia in the temple. Right now that she is missing, a rumor is spreading that Bryce sacrificed her to Medusa.
After the player deals with this rumor and dispatches the angry citizens who started it, then they are able to speak with Bryce who is hiding nearby. Next, the players have to follow her to the Dread Ruins. There are lots of statues and dead plants.
The players will be able to hear Ligeia’s cries. That pair will travel to the temple quickly in order to save her. To access the lair of Medusa, the players have to find a key.
For your information, Ligeia was a Daughter of Artemis, and has conveyed some of their lore to Bryce. You have to know that the key to Medusa’s lair is on the island Chios, in the Hunted Forest of Artemis.

Now, the door can be unlocked, and the players are able to kill snakes and grab loot on the way to the Gorgon, while tracking down the panicking Bryce.
