The unique game known as Among Us was actually designed for mobile controls. It means it will be needed for you to switch to keyboard controls if you are playing on a PC where it is really popular. You might want to do it for much more precision. By using a keyboard, it would be easy for you to control movement and actions. Unfortunately, there is no way for you to change the keybinds just yet officially. However, there is an alternative for you.
Switching to the keyboard is actually good for the players as they will get advantages from it. If you are one of the players, there is no need for you to be so fast with the mouse. All that you have to do is to make your fingers right at the keys and everything will be ready to announce an Emergency Meeting and start typing.
How do you switch to the keyboard controls? Apparently, the controls in Among Us are using a mouse to be able to match the touchscreen of mobile devices. If you want to make performing actions faster, you are recommended to swap to the keyboard instead. If you are interested in trying it, the first thing that you have to do is to go to Settings. After that, choose Mouse + Keyboard. Actually, you are still allowed to use the mouse. However, this setting adds keyboard controls. As for the controls, they are as follows:

Once again, the game named Among Us was intended for mobile. As the time passed, it expanded to include the PC. However, there are some exceptions to playing on a Chromebook. If you want to play this game on Chromebook, first of all, you will have to download the game. If you want to install it, administrator privileges are needed. Keep in mind that there is no way for you to play Among Us this way if your Chromebook is not enabled to use Android apps.
Talking about how to play Among Us on Chromebook with WASD, one thing that you have to take note of is the fact that it is a game that is based on Android. This basically means it is optimized for a touchscreen. For anyone who downloads the game from the Google Play Store, you will only get a game that is limited to touchpad or gamepad use. If you are wondering about it, the reason is because the Google app counts as a mobile version. - After clicking it, choose Touch that is located under the Controls heading.
- When you are done, back out of the menu.
For your information, touch controls do not work the same way as when you are playing a game like Among Us on a PC. As the alternative to using the touchscreen to move the way that you would on your phone, a mouse click can be used. Every click can act like a tap on the screen and your character will walk to that location. While it is not really known as the WASD movement, it is still better than dragging a joystick to make your character walk.
