Character sheets are the ones that allows you to use a digital sheet that looks like a traditional paper sheet while you are playing your game in Roll20. When setting up the game, the creator of the game is able to select a character sheet template and every character in the game will use that sheet template.
Starting a new game
There is an option to select the character sheet that you want to use when you start a new game. It is from the handy drop down available on the New Games creation screen. The sheet template is able to be changed after the game creation. When you make a game that is a copy of the one that has been created, the copy will keep all relevant character sheet information in order to match the original. In the end, you have to click the button saying “I’m Ready, Create Game” to save.

13th Age Legacy Character Sheet
This paragraph will talk about the 13th Age Legacy Character Sheet. This one was created by neovatar in December 2014 and it was updated for the last time in July 2018. In September 2020, the maintainership of the sheep was changed to the user named Fanne. This sheet took inspiration from the great Roll20 Pathfinder character sheet.
Changing the character sheet
If you already created a game but you want to change or add the character sheet, you need to visit the Game Settings page. This one is able to be accessed from the Settings dropdown on the Game Details page. As for the link to the Game Details pages of games that you belong are located on the My Games page.
In the Character Sheet Template section, choose a template from the dropdown. Pro subscribers have another privilege as they can also select Custom to enter their own HTML and CSS. Lastly, you will have to click the save Changes button that is able to be found at the bottom of the screen.
Adding individual sheets in game

The Gamemaster or one that promoted to GM is allowed to add individual character sheets in game that can be assigned to people. If you want to do so, you can go to the Journal tab and click on the +Add button and choose Character from the dropdown menu.
Another way to do it is by right clicking the folder that has been made in the Journal tab and choosing Add Character from the Folder Options menu. They will be placed directly into the right clicked folder if they add new Characters or Handouts by using the right click method. It does not matter the method that is used to create the Character entry, Roll20 will randomly generate a placeholder for the Name of the Character entry.

You will be able to see a tab on when you open up a Character in your Journal named Character Sheet if there is a character sheet template that can be used for your game. The Character Sheet tab can be opened by clicking it. The template that has been selected by the creator of the game determines the layout and look of your sheet, as well as what fields are available.
Filling in values are the most common method to interact with a sheet. Feel free to type in text boxes, use checkboxes and radio buttons, select from drop down menus, and so on. All the changes will be automatically saved when you will out the sheet.
A few fields may have default values. You are allowed to modify these values as you want for the specific character. Aside from that, a few fields are also auto calculating. Apparently, each of those fields will auto update in order to reflect their new values as you fill out the other parts of the sheet. Keep in mind that you are not allowed to modify those fields directly.
