More About Items to Get From Jack ACNH

Every year, there is always a Halloween event held in Animal Crossing New Horizons or ACNH. This one is usually held on October 31st starting from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM. If you are wondering about the time in the Northern Hemisphere and in the Southern Hemisphere, everything is the same as the one mentioned before.

Even though the event happens at the end of the month, the vibe is already felt at the beginning of the month as everyone prepares a lot of things for this event that is considered big.

On October 31^st at 5PM, the Halloween event will start and there will be a few changes, including:

• • The music with the Halloween theme will start to play with a spookier vibe in the sky.
  • Jack will show up outside on your island that is close to Resident Services.
  • Some villagers will put on a dress while some others will roam outdoors asking for candy or go to their places for the evening to give candy.

If you have no idea what to do on Halloween night, you are suggested to start everything with Jack. When the clock hits 5PM on your island, get ready to meet Jack. Jack is the name of one of the characters in the Animal Crossing series. He is known as a specter. He calls himself a Czar of Halloween and usually makes an appearance once a year, which on Halloween on the island close to Resident Services. The time when he comes starts from 6:00PM to 1:00 AM the following day. When it comes to the appearance, he wears a pumpkin on his head during Halloween, making it hard to differentiate him from the other villagers, who apparently wear the same things from head to toe. What makes it harder to tell them apart is that all of them will ask for candy.

Before the Halloween event and before meeting Jack, you are suggested to purchase candy from Nook’s Cranny throughout the month of October so that you will have candy in your hand before everything starts. A candy at Nook’s Cranny costs 120 Bells. It is available to be purchased every day in the month of October, including on Halloween.

As a player, you are recommended to give him candy, unless you want to be tricked by him. The tricks that he pulls include turning an inventory item into a Jack in the box, taking your offered item, replacing your hat and or accessory with a Pumpkin Head helmet, and replacing your top with a Patched Shirt or Moldy Shirt.

When you meet Jack for the first time, he will give you the Haunt reaction in exchange for giving him a candy. Is the Haunt reaction the only thing that is given by Jack to you and the other players of the game in exchanging for candy? Fortunately, the list does not stop here. After getting the Haunt reaction, you will have to give a piece of candy twice to Jack if you want to get Jack’s robe and Jack’s face costume clothing. After that, sets of pumpkins will be given by him. Apart from that, he will also give you his outfit and two DIY recipes. For these, everything depends on the amount of lollipops and candy you give him. In addition, you may also be given a copy of his face or robe as a gift. Aside from these items, Jack is not in charge of giving the other items or recipes with Halloween themes. Instead of Jack, villagers are the ones that will give these items to you and the other players of the game. Below is the list of the items that you can get from the villagers:

Just like Jack, these villagers will also ask you for candy in exchange for the items that they have. As there are Jack and a lot of villagers who ask you for candy, you should prepare to get them a lot beforehand. For a Halloween night, you are suggested to have at least 20 pieces of candy in your hand in order to collect all the Halloween items.
