They state the kinds of Halo Infinite Christmas rewards can be nameplate, emblems, armor pieces, attachments, special backdrops and weapons with holiday-themed coatings.
The armor coatings here actually refer to peppermint themed with mint green, white and fresh shades of pinky-red that keep your Spartans looking more gorgeous. Other rumored rewards that will be available during this event are a Santa hat and Rudolph nose.

How to Complete Winter Contingency Event Challenges?
The Winter Contingency Christmas Event offers a bunch of challenges that will be easy to complete. The challenges will also give you amazing rewards. However, the challenges in the Winter Contingency Christmas Event are quite different.
When you access the game to complete the challenges, you find a menu that says you have event challenges, but gaining the rewards will only require you to play one match either a Big Team Battle or a Quick Play match once per day. To note, you will be able to get one reward per day.
To start completing the Winter Contingency Christmas Challenges, all you have to do is to play at least one round each day for 10 out of the event’s 13 days. The challenges will earn you 10 of the new festive armor coatings, emblems and many others.
Furthermore, the challenge in this event means your first finished match each day. No matter if you win or lose, each of 10 challenges will grant you one reward, although you cannot unlock the challenges earlier than New Year’s Eve.
Even though the way to unlock the in-game items is not clear yet, but it would be interesting for you to do it, as you just simply play one match in Halo Infinite. So, what are you waiting for?
While you wait for this event to start, you can also do an in-game activity called loading up on cosmetics. However, this is another way to fill out your multiplayer cosmetics collection before then. To do this activity, you just simply play the Halo Infinite Campaign.
In loading up your cosmetics in Halo Infinite Campaign, there are also special containers that are scattered throughout the open-world map where it will add a unique multiplayer cosmetics to your account when it is open.
The multiplayer cosmetics that will be available in Halo Infinite Campaigns include armor pieces, weapon skins, charms and decals. While you are in between missions, the cosmetics will be worth hunting for. Sure, some of the cosmetics will also be found in Halo Infinite’s main mission.
A Few Words about Winter Contingency Christmas Event
To celebrate in-game Christmas, the 343 Industries finally offers a great event called Winter Contingency Event. During this event, the players will be allowed to complete any challenges that will earn them a bunch of amazing rewards.
The rewards available in the Winter Contingency Christmas Event are totally free. What you should do is to complete the challenges. In other words, you can only get free rewards by playing one match in Halo Infinite.
However, the Winter Contingency Christmas Event is limited. Since this event is now live, it’s highly recommended for you to start completing any challenges and also playing one match.
Unlike the previous event called Fracture: Event, this year’s Christmas event does not bring too much new to the multiplayer game, though it provides a number of rewards for the players. The Winter Contingency Christmas event will last from December 21, 2021 to January 4, 2022.
Need to know, the Winter Contingency Christmas event will only offer you 10 days of rewards. Of course, you have to unlock the free rewards during this event by playing one game of Arena or Big Team Battle per-day.
