Unfortunately, it is not a strong weapon to be considered one of the best weapons in the game, at least in the Halo Infinite’s Multiplayer launch. Need to know that the Stalker Rifle is not a Kinetic Weapon. It deals more damage to exposed opponents or a Shock Weapon, great against vehicles. It is a Plasma Weapon. It means that this weapon eliminates shields faster than other weapons in Halo Infinite.

Halo Infinite Stalker Rifle: Where Can It Be Found?

The Stalker Rifle is a long-ranged sniper rifle which comes with a variable zoom. It is battery operated, meaning it does not need reloading. However, it will be able to overheat and will need venting after 7 shots in quick succession. It is almost useless at close range due to the slow fire-rate. But, the weapon does have a really accurate no-scope shot. You have to know that it needs three headshots to drop a Spartan, and 5 successive body shots for a kill. Its high ability makes it very effective at holding points and popping shots at opponents for allies to clean up, even though if you are accurate enough you are able to get two kills before having to vent. This creates it ideal on Big Team Battle, and a little less effective on 4v4 modes. However, with good teamwork its weaknesses is able to be fixed.

So, where to find the Stalker Rifle in Halo Infinite? As a power weapon in Halo Infinite, the Stalker Rifle is found in the wall containers on most maps which are on the larger side, with it absent on many smaller arena-based maps. Also, it is mostly present in the vertical areas which overlook sections of any maps. Now, you will be able to find the Stalker Rifle inside Weapon Rackets on maps like Launch Site, Descent and Highpower.

You are able to find the location to kill Barroth to get the Stalker Rifle Ultra close to the Riven Gate. For your information, Barroth is the high value target boss that you need to kill to get the upgraded version of the Stalker Rifle. Ensure to kill Barroth first because he is a sniper and deals heavy damage. But, he is really squishy and thus an easy target with a sniper rifle or rocket launcher. After you have located and killed Barroth take care of the other opponents.

Stalker Rifle Weapon Tips

Contrary to the S7 Sniper Rifle, Stalker Rifle can be an easier weapon to use for “No Scope” kills thanks to it being lightweight. On the other hand, it is also useful for long-distance shots. You are able to use two zooms variations while aiming.

Like other weapons which use energy or plasma as ammo, this Stalker Rifle will be able to overheat. You have to keep an eye on the bar under the crosshair. When it is full, your weapon will be overheated and unable to sue for 3 seconds. Now, you are able to recharge before having the bar complete and you are going to avoid this issue.
