You will be asked to find the installation folder for Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn when you click to start TexTools. Specifically, the subfolder that you have to find is …/FINAL FANTASY XIV – A Realm Reborn/game/sqpack/ffxiv. If FFXIV TexTools is set up, the TexTools mod will start monitoring that folder so that it will be easier to view and manage your FFXIV mods.

    • If you have set up your Final Fantasy Realm Reborn folder, then you need to download a Final Fantasy XIV mod or FFXIV mods that you want through Nexus Mods or XIV Mod Archive.

You have to go ahead and choose Import Mod Pack and watch the files import all the files from the folder.     • Now, you have installed your first mod successfully.

So, the conclusion is that this game prohibits the players to use mods and it is able to lead them to be banned, but on the other hand, there is no way for the developers to catch the players who use mods.

Naoki Yoshida as the director of the game made a statement that he does not agree with mods, particularly mods which are able to make the characters nude.
