Available Ultimate Team Captains
According to the VGR site, here is the explanation about available ultimate team captains. In Ultimate Team mode, there are four Madden 22 Team Captain players available and they are wide receiver Lance Alworth, halfback Shaun Alexander, strong safety John Lynch, left end Jack Youngblood. Three of them are NFL Hall of Famers and former cover star Shaun Alexander is the only one who has yet to be inducted.
An 85 OVR Team Captain card is had by each of these players and it can be added to your team with unique stats. In the list below, some of the top attributes for each of the captains when you get their cards are explained.

The Way to Get a Madden 22 Team Captain and Upgrade Them
Do you want to know how to get a Madden 22 team captain and how to upgrade them? According to the VGR site, here is how you can do that. It is explained that you need to navigate to the Missions section of the MUT Hub after you are in Madden’s Ultimate Team mode. When you are there, the Campaign must be chosen to open the solo missions there. You will need to play up to Week 3 of The Campaign Challenges.
In the Week 3 missions, discover a tryout for each of the four Madden 22 Team Captain players. You must play through all four of these tryout games for each captain and then you will obtain a Team Captain Fantasy Pack. This pack will give you the option to obtain one of the four players mentioned above.
Have you got your team captain? If you have, then upgrading the card from an 85 OVR to an 89 OVR can be done by you. You can do it by going to the Upgrades tab which is able to be found on your Team Captain’s player card. You are allowed to upgrade for 5 Training Points per OVR. For 20 Training Points, you are permitted to upgrade four tiers to get your player to 89 OVR.
For now, you do not have an option to trade for a new Team Captain in MUT. However, it probably will be done in the future. So, it is important for you to decide wisely which team captain that you want to get to start the season.
The Best Team Captain in Madden 22
According to The Loadout site, the best team captain is John Lynch. He is the Super Bowl champion and he has great base stats across the board. He also will be an absolute pain for attacking sides. Even though he is not as good as fellow strong safety Kam Chancellor, but he is the strongest Madden 22 team captain from this list.
Lances Alworth is at a strong second because of his impressive running and catching stats and overall pace.

Madden 22 is a football video game from America and this game is based on the National Football League (NFL). Madden NFL 22 is developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronics Arts. This game was released for a number of platforms such as Stadia, Microsoft Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
You may know Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who played against each other the previous season in Super Bowl LV. They both make their second appearance on the cover. In June 2021, they both were announced as co-cover athletes and it is the second time for them.
How about the features of the game? In previous years, as explained on Wikipedia, this game had got specific criticism because of the lack of features and updates to the franchise mode. Especially, when it is compared to the likes of previous installment from older generations of consoles such as Madden NFL 2005. EA stated that Madden 22 would feature ‘more detailed staff management and skill tree progression systems, with comprehensive weekly game strategy that integrates into the game plan of the player’. Also, the game will have various other updates which are added throughout the NFL season. In the game, there will also be a ‘home field advantage’ system where each stadium gives the home team a certain ability once enough momentum credit is built up.
Madden NFL 22 got mixed or average reviews from critics according to Metacritics. However, as explained on Wikipedia, the game was review bombed with negative reviews because all the versions of the game have a user score of 1.1 in Stadia or lower namely 0.3 on the Xbox One.
