The game still uses the dialogue choice and NPC relationship elements from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. However, in this game, there are new elements such as forging political alliances with NPC clans.

In this game, the choice and decision that you make will affect the world of the game in real time. You are able to travel from the cold shores or Norway to England. In this game, as explained earlier, you will play as Eivor where you can equip yourself with an assortment of weapons and dual wield many of them. Also, you are permitted to use Hidden Blade in combat which has not been used since Origins.

As Eivor, you are able to develop your own settlement. You can also build and upgrade structures such as barracks and tattoo shops. Recruiting new members of your clan and training your own army for raids and other missions can also be done by you as Eivor.
