Where to Find Halo Infinite Spartan Cores?

The locations where Halo Infinity Spartan Cores are found around the map. In other words, you may need to explore your Halo world. The greatest way to find the Spartan Cores is by capturing Forward Operating Bases (FOBs). In the way of capturing the FOBs, you may need to defeat all enemies in the base.

Afterwards, the UNSC bases will mark up nearby items, one of them is Spartan Cores. After you capture them, you can then claim them. It is said that this way is an inappropriate skill as to what FBO highlights what area, while Spartan Cores are available in side missions areas like enemy outposts that you have to take on to obtain near them.

No worries! If you get hard to find the locations where Spartan Cores can be found, we will show you some areas where you can get Spartan Cores easily. You should know that there are at least 45 Spartan Cores found in chests around the map.

Here’s a list of locations where you can find Halo Infinite Spartan Cores!

    1. A Spartan Core can be found in the first corridor at the start of the Outpost Tremonius mission. The exact spot of Spartan Core is in the bottom funnels of the outpost.
    2. A Spartan Core chest can be found behind Outpost Tremonius in the north of the map.
    3. A Spartan Core can be found just to the side of Outpost Tremonius, sitting beside the building.
    4. A Spartan Core can be found north of the lk Novus Target, sitting inside a Forerunner armory at the base of an overlook tower.
    5. A Spartan Core can be found on the ground floor of the base behind some Banished supply containers in the north-east corner of the Redoubt of Sundering Outpost.
    6. A Spartan Core can be found inside the building in the east, on the top floor, at the East of Forge of Trash Outpost.
    7. A Spartan Core can be found at the top of the hill, beside some Banished gear.
    8. A Spartan Core chest can be found amongst a destroyed aircraft on a hillside. It is located on the left side of the aircraft, beside a small crate.
    9. A Spartan Core can be found on the edge of the cliff, beside some UNSC equipment.
    10. A Spartan Core can be found just north of the body of water south of Outpost Tremonius. To get it, you have to enter the cave halfway up the hill.
    11. Etc.

Okay, there are still remaining locations where Halo Infinite Spartan Cores can be found. Make sure to always discover your Halo map in order to get Spartan Cores as many as possible.

How to Upgrade Your Gear With Spartan Cores?

To upgrade your gear in Halo Infinite, all you have to do is to collect Spartan Cores that can be found in some locations that we have mentioned above. You can get the Spartan Cores easily either with or without a scanner.

If you want to upgrade the abilities to the maximum, you may need to collect more Spartan Cores in the likes of FOBs, key mission areas and  Stronghold. There are at least five upgradable abilities that you can unlock as you progress through the campaign.

Furthermore, you will pick up each of those abilities from a fallen Spartan. So, it is not likely that you will miss them when you have to interact with them to continue. Here Are the abilities can upgrade with Spartan Cores:

Grappleshot

    • 1 Spartan Core – Voltaic: With its upgrade, Grappleshot will stun grappled enemies
    • 2 Spartan Cores – Quickshot: With its upgrade, Grappleshot Cooldown reduced by 40%
    • 3 Spartan Cores – For the first strike, it will deliver a powerful  shockwave blast as you hold melee while grappling.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Reachfall: With its upgrade, it will increase the damage and radius of the shockwave blast. Enemies within the blast get stunned.

Shield Core

Here’s how to upgrade Shield Core in Halo Infinite!

    • 1 Spartan Core – Fortress: With its upgrade, it will add an extra 15% of shields.
    • 2 Spartan Cores – Bastille: With its upgrade, it will add further 15% of shields.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Redoubt: With its upgrade, it will add a further 15% of shields.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Citadel: With its upgrade, it will add a final 15% of shield strength.

Threat Sensor

    • 1 Spartan Core – Seeker: With its upgrade, it will boost the detection radius of the sensor by 50%.
    • 2 Spartan Cores – Operative: With its upgrade, it will add a second charge to the sensor. It means  you are able to use it twice in quick succession.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Clairvoyant: With its upgrade, it will reduce the cooldown of the sensor by 40%.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Omniscience: With its upgrade, it will add uninterrupted enemy visibility to the Threat Sensor and reveal their health.

Drop Wall

    • 1 Spartan Core – Swift Shelter: With its upgrade, it will reduce the cooldown by 20%.
    • 2 Spartan Cores – Rampart: With its upgrade, it will increase the strength of the Drop Wall by 35%.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Blockade: With its upgrade, it will increase the strength of the Drop Wall by 70%, and increase its size.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Direct Current: With its upgrade, any projectiles that are  fired through the one-way element of the shield from your side will get a shock damage buff.

Thruster

Here’s how to upgrade Thruster in Halo Infinite!

    • 1 Spartan Core – Afterburner: With its upgrade, it will add a second charge to the Thruster. So, you will be able to use it twice before needing to wait out a cooldown.
    • 2 Spartan Cores – Thermal Control: With its upgrade, it will reduce the Thruster’s cooldown by 20%.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Impulse: With its upgrade, it will boost the Thruster’s power. It means that it will move your ore quickly.
    • 3 Spartan Cores – Escape Velocity: With its upgrade, as you thrust, you will gain a cloaking/invisibility effect for 4 seconds after.
