Shanty for a Squad Lyrics

[Verse 1]

There once was a squad that readied up

With outfits of fancy to say what’s up

Their hopes were high for win that day

Go, me squaddie boys, go

[Chorus]

See there, the storm she come

To widdle us down and leave just one

Grab your squad quick on the run

Let’s take our dub and go

[Verse 2]

The drop was hot and full of threat

It was lit up by a million sweats

The keg of slurp would pay no debt

The squaddy was spared that day (Huh!)

[Chorus]

See there, the storm she come

To widdle us down and leave just one

Grab your squad quick on the run

Let’s take our dub and go

[Verse 3]

The storm was closing in by now

The enemy full send now inbound

They find a way to clutch somehow

So go, me squaddie boys, go (Huh!)

[Chorus]

See there the storm she come

To widdle us down and leave just one

Grab your squad quick on the run

Let’s take our dub and go
