On July 3, 2022, the company called Boltrend Games announced the English version of the game called Atelier Online: Alchemist of Bressisle. It is stated that it would shut down on August 17, 2022. However, it seems like it has been shut down earlier than is supposed to as the page on Google Play Store at here is no longer around.
Aside from the language, there are no other differences between Atelier Online Alchemist of Bressisle English version and the original version. Atelier Online Alchemist of Bressisle English version follows the classic features of the Atelier Series. For those who want to know about Atelier Online Alchemist of Bressisle English version, you are encouraged to learn about the original Atelier Online Alchemist of Bressisle as they are the same.
Atelier Online Alchemist of Bressisle is developed by Gust/Koei Tecmo, NHN PlayArts and Now Production with music by ACE. It was launched on October 3, 2018. It was supposed to launch on the first day of October but it got delayed to October 3 in order to have more time for the staff to perform the final check. Actually, it was not the first delay as it was originally scheduled to launch in winter 2017 but was pushed to 2018. According to the company, it was delayed so the developers could expand the features of the game for a wider range of players, strengthen the infrastructure technology, and improve the overall quality of the game.
Just like any other games, Atelier Online Alchemist has a plot. Here is the official game story:
In some world of an unknown age.
There is an island floating on the clear and azure sea: Bressile Island.
On this nature-blessed island,
mankind has prospered and civilizations have flourished,
and many fields have unwittingly entered new stages:
“Wizardology”, which can use the power of nature by transforming it into other forms.
“Relicology”, which explores the unknown and searches after the truth.
“Mechanics”, which refers to historical relics and makes machines that can improve people’s lives.
And, “alchemy”, the mysterious knowledge that creates new items by mutating
the existence and nature of matter.
“To cultivate talents who do researches and explore the future.”
There is a place on the “Bressisle Island”, where such an ideal is set, and where
countless students study hard every day.
That’s the “Royal Academy of Sciences” – commonly known as the “Alchemy”.
“I want to be useful and helpful person some day.”
These students quickly entered the classroom, bearing the hope for the future.

Alchemy synthesis eats Ether. This game has a total of three kinds of alchemy categories, including:

- Item: Items vary from usable items, quest items, to the items that can be used in the synthesis of other items such as Supplements.
- Equipment: Not only Gacha, the player can also synthesize equipment to obtain new equipment.
- Cuisine: While the food items in the other Atelier titles are used for any sort of healing, it is different in this game. These items are used to increase the stats of the player’s characters.
It is possible for all the items from all categories to be featured in quests. However, items generally have no use aside from a certain quest that goes under “item”.
There are two of the most important currencies in the game. The first one is Cole. This one is able to be exchanged for gacha rolls and specific shop items. It is also possible to purchase it with real life currency. In addition, it can also be earned from quests, titles and daily attendance. The second one is Ether. This one is used to synthesize and upgrade items. It can be earned from quests, combat, daily attendance or selling items. Compared to the first one, Cole, Ether is a more common reward.
Actually, Cole and Ether are not the only currencies that the game has. Then, what are the others? Apart from these two, there are also several minor currencies. These minor currencies are generally tied to certain events. They are able to be exchanged for event and premium goods in the shop when the event is ongoing.

There are several different regions in Bressile Island. These regions become available as the player progresses through the main storyline. Every region has a number of different main materials to collect. However, many of them are found across several regions. Besides, there are also some monsters to fight. Talking about regions, they are divided into multiple smaller maps and dungeons that can be visited by the player. In general, there is also a settlement, a place that makes it possible for the player to rest or interact with the townspeople.
There are two options to choose from: exploring freely or simply gathering materials using the Auto feature. If the players want to make use of an area, it will be needed for them to prepare a few items, such as bombs that can be used to clear obstacles and to take notice of the weather, wildlife and the time of the day to learn about the locations where rare items spawn accordingly. There are also monsters in the map and they can change depending on if it is night or day. All the players are allowed to use a number of different premium items to temporarily enhance the materials in an area.
