How Is The Gameplay of Fortnite Battle Royale?

In the Fortnite Battle Royale, there are 100 players who drop off the Battle Bus. They compete Solo or in Teams and it depends on your Mode for the Victory Royale. All of the players in the game will begin with only their Glider and a Harvesting Tool. When they are on the ground, they need to scavenge buildings, their surrounding areas, and chests to be able to find weapons and items for them to survive. Then, they also will have to kill up to 99 opponents and they need to be able to avoid getting killed by them. There is also The Storm. It acts like a barrier moves and limits the Safe Zone. It will damage you if you are in it. It is done to force you to stay in the Eye of The Storm. If there are still a lot of players in the game, the Storm Surge will occur where you will take damage except if you kill players.

Besides, you also need to destroy structures like Houses and Trees to be able to gain Building Materials. Also, you need to build structures to be able to block damage. If you have high editing speeds, you are able to build fast and in an effective way. And then, you have a chance to come out on top in most case scenarios.

You may wonder where the idea of this game comes from. Well, this game was developed because it is inspired by the existing games such as PUBG and H1Z1. They are the same battle royale game which was very successful but noted for its technical flaws. At first, Fortnite Battle Royale was released as part of the early access version of Save The World, but then transitioned the game to a free to play model which is funded by microtransactions. Then, Epic divided the development team including team for Battle Royale and team for Save the World.

In Battle Royale, every season usually lasts for about 65 days. It permits the players to be able to progress through the tiers of the season. If you are able to unlock tiers, you will be able to have access to cosmetic items. How about the Battle Pass? It permits not only a much bigger pool of items to unlock, but it also permits the ability to reach levels faster. As you know that players without Battle Pass can only access about 15 items. If you are able to hit level 100, you will get extra styles for your Battle Pass outfits and cosmetics if applicable until you are able to unlock the final one. If the season ends, all levels of the player will be resetted and then  there will be new items which are added for the next season.
