What is in the videos above? In the videos, they show a TikTok post where in that post, there is a Tweet of Fortnite at Fortnite Twitter account which states that Fortnite have partnered with an app called Fetch Rewards. In addition, in the post, it is stated that you are able to use code VCDR8 for 1,000 V-Bucks free. On that post, we can see that the Tweet was posted on December 12th, 2020 at 02:57 PM, having 20k likes and 948 retweets. But, is this announcement true?

We checked in the comments section of the video entitled December 12, 2020 above and a lot of people say that this is fake. Then, we tried to check to the official Twitter of Fortnite @FortniteGame whether the announcement which spreads in TikTok is true or not. When we accessed the Fortnite Twitter account and checked at their posts on December 12th, 2020, there was no post about it on that date. And even when we scrolled up and down, Fortnite has never announced that they have partnered with Fetch Rewards.

Then, we also found an article in Freshers Live site which was posted on December 14th, 2020. On that article, it was stated that Fortnite is not partnered with Fetch Rewards.

So, from our discovery, we are able to conclude that a statement which says that Fortnite has partnered with Fetch Rewards is fake. Also, the code Vcdr8 is also fake. And the twitter post about vcdr8 code to get free V-Bucks in the name of a Fortnite account is fake.

Fortnite Twitter Posts on December 12th, 2020

On the fake news in TikTok which is also spread in Youtube, you can see that Fortnite made an announcement that they have partnered with Fetch Rewards on December 12th, 2020. But, yes, after we checked, it is fake and the Fortnite Twitter account has never made this kind of announcement. Intead, on December 12th, 2020, they retweeted a post of @ESPNPR about MLB Players Cup featuring Fortnite. On that post, it is written that this V week, 16 MLB Players competed in the MLB Players Cup featuring Fortnite for a share of a $300,000 prize pool for charities of their choice, including @TheVFoundation.

Besides, there is also another post on December 12th, 2020 about new Gingerbread Raider Outfit. On that post, it is stated that you are able to get the new Gingerbread Raider Outfit inspired by @Fercho_UwU in the Item Shop. This post has been retweeted more than 2k times and liked more than 27k times with more than 2k comments.

Fortnite Twitter Posts After December 12th, 2020

Fortnite made some posts after December 12th, 2020. On December 11th, 2020, they retweeted a post from The Fortographer about Mancake on a Pancake. Then, on December 13th, 2020, Fortnite posted a vote to ask their users. The question is about how you are spending Bars. The most answer to this question is ‘Hoard like a dragon’ with 38,3%. The second most answers is ‘Upgrade Upgrade Upgrade’ with 27,5%, the third most answers is ‘Save for the next Exotic’ with 22,8%. And, the least answer is ‘Spend em as I get em’ with 11,3%.

On December 13th, 2020, Fortnite made a post that there is a new Fa-La-La-La-Fishstick Outfit in the Item Shop that you can grab now. On December 14th, 2020, Fortnite made a post about Yule Trooper and a good doggo which is ready to turn up the heat and they are available in the Item Shop. On December 15th, 2020, Fortnite made a post that you can get your friends back together, play some Fortnite and earn awesome rewards with the Reboot a Friend program. On the same date, they also made a post that the new date for the Bhangra Boogie Cup is now December 20th and you can compete to get in-game prizes and an opportunity to get a brand new OnePlus 8T.

This kind of site may be often found by you. You need to note that there is no free V-Bucks, except if the program is held by Fortnite itself.

Once again, regarding Vcdr8 code in Fortnite, it is a scam. Fortnite has never announced that they have partnered with Fetch Rewards.
