Here’s the Quick Guide of Recipe for Disaster Quest

Recipe for Disaster quest requires you to save eight people/ creatures from the Culinaromancer before they finally defeat him. This quest was released on March 15, 2006 with a special difficulty level. It takes a very long length to finish this quest.

The item required:

    • Eye of Newt
    • Dirty Blast
    • Rotten Tomatoes
    • A glass of Greenman’s ale
    • A cocktail Shaker

Here’s how to finish the Recipe for Disaster quest!

Step 1: Started by Speaking to the Cook in Lumbridge Castle

The first task that you should do to complete this quest is to speak to the Cook that you can find in Lumbridge Castle kitchen on the first floor. He is Duke Horacio’s personal cook which commonly seems unprepared, but with the player’s help, he really can really prepare the great food well. Here, the Recipe for Disaster is started from.

Step 2: Speak Again to the Cook to Get Ingredients

The cook has a very surprisingly plenty of ingredients on his hand in the kitchen which is possibly as a result of an endless stream of newcomers with light fingers. They are kindly taking anything which is not nailed down from his kitchen.

Because a certain problem has now appeared which allows him to make Recipe for Disaster, almost all members probably try to solve his complicated predicament.

Step 3: Obtain the Ingredients

Once you convince to help the cook, he will then give you 100 gp and inform you to obtain an Eye of Newt, a Dirty Blast, Rotten Tomatoes and a glass of Greenman’s ale. You can get Rotten Tomatoes by making it from compost bins or purchase them at the duel arena or pillory sites.

In order to get the Greenman’s ale, you should brew it or buy it at the Yanille Pub and LightHouse General Shop. Additionally, some players also sell it but it’s tagged by a very high price. While, the Eye of Newt can be found at the Port Sarim magic store or Taverley herblore store.

A Dirty Blast can be obtained by making your own fruit blast and then adding ashes to it. To make it, you can use an orange, lemon and pineapple on your cocktail shaker. You can then use it with a cocktail glass. Cut lemon into slices by using a knife and add a lemon slice to unfinished cocktail. Last, add ashes to it.

A cocktail shaker can be obtained when you start or already completed the Blurberry Bartender mini-game (Gnome Stronghold) or you can also purchase it from Funch’s Fine Groceries located next to the Cocktail Bar, second floor, Gnome Stronghold. Moreover, oranges and lemon may be purchased from a Gnome barman and at the Grand Tree.

Step 4: Attend for Feast

After successfully obtaining all items to create Recipe for Disaster, you must  take them and go back to the Cook. He will then invite you to the feast. To attend the feast, you should go through the North to enter the doors to the banquet room to start the feast. The members who can attend the feast as follow:

    • Skrach Uglogwee from the Feldip Hills
    • Sir Amik Varze from Falador
    • Awowogei from Ape Atoll

    • The goblin generals from Goblin Village
    • Pirate Pete from Braindeath Island

Once you enter the feast’s room, Duke Horacio will have left to investigate the strange box event. Then, Osman will be taken away by Evil Bob. The Culinaromancer is going to enter the room and start to put magic spells on everyone at the table. Gypsy Aris just in time will arrive and freeze everyone in the room, except you.

The Gypsy tells that Culinaromancer was a cook in Lumbridge 100 years ago and he has threatened the secret council with death. The Gypsy also reveals that the current cook kindly made a powerful food spell which released Culinaromancer from that dimension.

Step 5: Freeing the Council Members

Then, to free each member from Culinaromancer’s spell, they should be given their favorite food. With the help of the Cook and  Gypsy, you can then serve each council member with their favorite food and once free. Then, Gypsy will take them to a safe place where Culinaromancer cannot find them.

You should inspect them first before trying to free them in order to clear out the red label on their names in the quest log. If you successfully free them, you will then grant one Quest point and additional access to Culinaromancer’s chest which is located in the Basement. It works as a bank and also a shop which allows you to purchase various gloves and weapons as well as food items.

Congratulations! You already complete this quest after you earn the Quest point and also get Culinaromancer’s chest.
