One of Fortnite’s Season 6 Week 12 challenges asks the players to hunt Predators, and this guide explains where to find these Predators. Make sure you do not miss any information so that you will be able to complete the challenge.
Overview – Hunt Predators
Now, the new challenges are available in Fortnite. It appears that this will be the last set of tasks added as part of Fortnite: Season 6. Thus, the players who are still working on Fortnite’s Season 6 Battle Pass will want to complete all of those new challenges, including one that centers around hunting the Predators. For those players who need a bit of assistance with the hunt Predators challenge, you will be able to find full details about that challenge in this guide.
Hunt Predators Challenge Guide
To start the hunt Predators challenge, it may be worth taking a moment to clarify exactly what predators are in Fortnite, because it may not be immediately clear to all players. Simply, Wolves and Raptors are considered predators. The players have to eliminate three of them in total to complete the hunt Predators challenge. It can be done in a variety of different locations, because these creatures are able to spawn across the map.
Need to note, Wolves and Raptors in Fortnite have a tendency to roam. Thus, the players may not find them in these locations in every single match. That said, the players who visit these areas over the course of some matches must encounter a group of predators. The players have to fire upon them when that happens. After dispatching three of these predators, the players are going to receive indication that they have completed the hunt predators challenge and would earn their XP reward.
With the three predators slain, the players are free to move on to the other Fortnite Season 6 Week 12 challenges which grant additional XP when finished. One of the challenges asks the players to raid an Artifact. It may be the most difficult of this week’s tasks. Indeed, the players may need to search Stealthy Stronghold and Coral Castel quite thoroughly before they are able to find the relevant Artifacts, because they are hidden fairly well.
Another of this week’s Fortnite challenges sends the players to Chicken Glide at Colossal Crops. Also, this one can be a bit tricky to complete. That is because the players who are working on the task need to know where to discover Chickens as well as how to catch them and use them to glide. While this process may be clear to some players, those who have never performed a Chicken Glide before will need to look for further instruction on that technique.
The location of Predators: Raptors and Wolves
Hunt Predators challenge asks you to kill at least three wild predators found across the island. There are only two animals counted as predators: Raptors and Wolves. You must be able to find both easily.
Raptors are able to be found all over the map. Like other wildlife in Fortnite, they are fairly rare and spawn randomly. Raptors create a distinct chirping sound that sounds very different from other animal noises, thus you should be able to hear them before you see them.
Here are all the places where you will be able to find Raptors in Fortnite:
-
- West of Stealthy Stronghold
- Boney Burbs
- West of Weeping Woods
- South of the Spire
- West of Misty Meadows
- North of Colossal Crops
- East of Craggy Cliffs
- North of Retail Row
- South of Retail Row
- Catty Corner
Once again, Raptors appear randomly so that you may not discover Raptors if you drop at any of the locations. Also, they tend to roam around. They can wander away from their initial spawn locations. Other players might tame or eliminate them before you get them.
So, how to find wolves in Fortnite? One thing to note is that wolves spawn in mountains, hills, and forest areas. This will always be the case. Though it is possible to find them randomly.
Here are all the places where you will be able to find wolves in Fortnite:
-
- Lazy Lake
You are able to find wolves at Lazy Lake, especially around the small town. If you are going around the small town in Lazy Lake, that is when you will be able to find a wolf. Like any other spawn, they are going to be in packs, or there will be a few scattered ones going around as a lone wolf.
-
- Misty Meadows
Misty Meadows is the second-best place to find the wolves. Usually, they are going to spawn in higher mountain areas. So you have to make sure to go there first. There is no specific area to search as it is all a mountain range, going around for some minutes will spawn a pack of them.
-
- Weeping Woods
The best location to find the wolves is Weeping Woods. From this location, the players can easily find wolves. Here, they spawn more naturally than anywhere else. If you are planning to tame one, this is the place to go. The open forest area that Weeping Woods provides is a good condition for wolves in Fortnite.
