How about the gameplay of this game? Same as past Halo games, most gameplay of the game takes place from a first person perspective. As a player, you are able to use a number of weapons and vehicles which are usually found in the Halo series. Warthog is one of the vehicles which can be found in this game. This vehicle is a fictional armored fighting vehicle. This vehicle is described as a fast and maneuverable light reconnaissance vehicle. Warthog has four wheels and this is an all-terrain vehicle with 12.7 mm three-barreled machine-gun mounted in the rear as explained on Wikipedia site.
In Halo Infinite, there are some new abilities for the player character the Master, such as the Grapple Shot and Thruster which permits him to pull himself to enemies or retrieve items.
The campaign mode of this game has a semi-open world structure. As a player, you are able to explore parts of the setting freely. There are Forward Operating Bases which are scattered throughout the environment and those are able to be cleared of enemies and captured.
Now, how about multiplayer? It largely keeps traditional Halo gameplay with slayer, capture the flag, and other modes which are available in standard 4v4 and Big Team Battle variants. The setting of Halo Infinite is on the Forerunner ringworld installation 07 (Zeta Halo). Mysteriously, it suffered damage. In the game, you can also find the player character, Master Chief John- 117. He is an UNSC Spartan supersoldier on a mission to neutralize Cortana who is his former partner.
It is explained that on October 25th, 2021, 343 Industries published a video which depicted the campaign mode of the game for the first time since its initial panned debut in July 2020. Then, on November 15th, 2021, they released an open beta of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer aspect where it was released on Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. It was done to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Halo series and Xbox. On November 19th, 2021, Halo Infinite was released to manufacturing and then on December 8th, 2021, it was released.
On December 9th, 2021, Halo Infinite won The Game Awards 2021 for Player’s Voice.
