How to Get Sanrio Items ACNH Without Amiibo

You may agree that Sanrio items in the Animal Crossing New Horizons are cute. And now, you really want to have these items. As you know, to get Sanrio items, you have to scan amiibo cards. And now, the question is, is it possible to get Sanrio items without amiibo?

Getting Sanrio Items without Amiibo

According to Animal Crossing World, any item which is able to be dropped on the ground in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is able to be traded technically. So, you can get the Sanrio furniture and clothing items from other players without having the Sanrio amiibo cards. But, you need to know that the Sanrio items are not able to be ‘catalogued’ and ordered later by yourself if you have not scanned the cards. So, you have to trade for the actual items, not the right to pick them up and re-drop. What does  ‘to be catalogued’ above mean? It is the process used when trading online in this game. In this process, one player drops an item on the ground for another player to pick up and then soon drops back on the ground to give it back to the first player. After the item is got, even if it is dropped later, the player who gets it is able to go home to their island and order the item from their Nook Shopping catalog. It is because technically they have the item now. However, for Sanrio items, this process will not work except if you have scanned the Sanrio amiibo cards yourself.

How to Get Sanrio Items ACNH Without Amiibo

You are not able to trade or adopt the Sanrio villagers from another player in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The meaning is that you are only able to have Marty, Rilla, Chai, Étoile, Chelsea, and Toby living on your island as long as you can get your hands on the Sanrio Amiibo cards.

So, you are able to get the conclusion that you are able to get the Sanrio furniture and clothing in Animal Crossing: New Horizons without having the Sanrio amiibo cards. However, you will have to use friends or the online trading community to do this and the process is not as easy as cataloguing the items.
