Yesterday, there were a lot of Hell Let Loose players who complained about servers being down. A user in Reddit wrote that he went to hop onto the game and after it’s loaded up onto the title screen and he clicked to go onto the menu, it just came up with “failed to request directory. Please try again.” In the comment section of this post, some other players wrote that they also encountered this issue.
I tried to find the information about it and how to fix it, the information that I got is that Hell Let Loose servers are down. Since the game was released, this is one of the most frequently reported issues. This issue makes players frustrated because they cannot play the game.
On the FreshersLive, it is explained that there appear to be frequent disconnections from the HLL / T17 servers for the users of consoles whether they are using Xbox or PlayStation. There were some players who have complained that the XP Progression that they have earned is not saved during matches.
According to the FreshersLive site, here are some methods that you are able to do to fix this issue.
-
- You are able to examine your internet connection. When you are encountering network issues or you do not have an internet connection or perhaps your wifi network is not working, the possibilities are your half-installed game will not run or even launch properly on the console. You have to test the speed and stability of your internet connection. If you find that the network is down, you can try changing to another network or you can use a mobile hotspot to test the feature.
- You can store your console in a location which is well-ventilated. This issue is able to be caused by exposing the console to direct sunlight, failing to maintain a cool temperature or giving enough airflow. The system of the console may reboot or reject to launch games to protect your hardware from overheating damage.
- You can try installing the latest Hell Let Loose and Console Firmware. If your game is an older version or the initial release build, it may have a number of bugs or compatibility issues.
- You can try emptying Hell Let Loose game data. It appears that removing the installed game saved data on the console is able to resolve some issues with game launching or gameplay.
- You can perform a hard reset on your console. In most cases, a hard reset of your console is able to resolve system glitches or cache data problems which are caused by the game itself.
- You can try diminishing in-game graphics. You can open the Hell Let Loose game on your console and then try to lower in graphics options in the game lower than usual to check whether the game is running properly. You have to set a custom FPS limit based on the capabilities of your hardware.
- You have to make sure that you do not use the Rest Mode. You have to avoid putting your console into rest mode since there are a lot of users who have reported the same issue. If the console is in rest mode, it will cause crashing issues with the already running programs.
