Glowing moss is one of the new crafting materials which was added to the Animal Crossing New Horizons 2.0 update. This material is needed in DIYs. However, you are not able to find them natively on your island. So, how to find them? Let’s find out about it here together with the other things that you need to know about Glowing Moss.
Where to Find Glowing Moss
Glowing Moss is like a weed but it has a glowing effect at night. If you walk across the plant, it emits glowing specks. Glowing Moss is used as one of the materials in a lot of DIY Crafting Recipes. If you want to get Glowing Moss, you are able to find it from a special new Mystery Island. This island is only able to be accessed by Kapp’n Boat Tours. On the island, there is a lot of greenery and a lot of vines. You will see that vines grow on the cliffs and glowing moss spreads out on the ground. Not only that, there are also plumeria bushes which are planted anywhere. So, when you find the glowing moss, you have to pick them and then plant them on your home island.
Another way to get glowing moss is to play the paid Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise DLC. Do you have this paid DLC? If you have, you can go to the Airport and then you have to choose “I want to work” to go to Paradise island. After you arrive on the DLC island, glowing moss can be found at the back of the plaza. They are free to take home the same as the materials on Kapp’n island.
