Who is Cyno?

How is the personality of this character? Cyno is rather a separate person. He prefers to keep things clear and concise. He comes up composed and he is not showing much emotional reaction. What about his appearance? It is like the culture of his region, the clothes that he wears are inspired by traditional Arabian outfits.

However, as you are able to see that his headpiece is more similar to Egyptian inspiration. The clothes that he wears is the same as the dancer outfits of ancient times during the merchant trade boom in the Middle East which takes inspiration from tales like that of One Thousand and One Nights and it is rather base bare as you are able to see in the original stories like Aladdin.

What Is the Element of Cyno?

Since this character is still upcoming, there is no information about which element he is. However, based on the Egyptian theme, he could be a Geo user. Cyno will be able to be met in Sumeru. It is the city-state which worships the God of Wisdom, the Dendro Archon. Also, Sumeru was where Lisa attended the Sumeru Academia for her studies.

Elements In Genshin Impact

In the Genshin Impact game, there are seven Elemental Powers in Teyvat. You are able to see them below.

  • Anemo. There is no status effect for this element.

Reaction Description: Swirl -> it infuses an element and deals that elemental damage while spreading the effect to near enemies. It does not deal Anemo damage and only one element at a time can be infused with Anemo.

  • Geo. There is no status effect for this element.

Reaction Description: Crystallize-> it absorbs the element and drops a crystal of that similar element. The crystal will give an elemental shield and the shield will absorb all types of damage. However, it can protect more efficiently against the element of the shield.

  • Electro. The status effect of this element is shock status.

Reaction Description: Electro-charged-> it deals electro DMG over time and it interrupts any action. If there are wet targets near it, they will get the electro-charged elemental reaction. Electro-Charged deals 2 instances of damage.

Overloaded-> it deals AoE Pyro DMG and it also causes an explosion.

Supercoduct-> it deals AoE Cryo DMG and it reduces the Physical DMG Resistance of the target  by -50%.

  • Dendro. There is no status effect from this element.

Reaction Description: Burning-> it deals Pyro DMG over time.

  • Hydro. The status effect is wet status.

Reaction Description: Electro-Charged-> it deals Electro DMG over time and can interrupt any action.

Frozen-> it will freeze the target.

Vaporize-> it deals x2 Hydro DMG when a Hydro attack triggers the reaction.

  • Pyro. This element applies the fire status.

Reaction Description: Overloaded-> it deals x2 Hydro DMG when a Hydro attack triggers the reaction.

Vaporize-> it deals x1.5 Pyro DMG when a Pyro attack triggers the reaction.

Melt-> it deals x2 Pyro DMG when a Pyro attack triggers the reaction.

Burning-> it deals Pyro DMG over time and the grass is considered a Dendro object and it will be able to spread the burn effect around the area.

  • Cryo. This element applies the Cold status and it can reduce movement speed.

Reaction Description: Superconduct-> it deals AoE Cryo DMG and it can reduce the Physical DMG Resistance of the target by -50%.

Frozen->It will be able to freeze the target and if the frozen target is hit by Claymore, a Plunge Attack or Geo DMG, it will cause Shattered.

Melt-> it deals x1.5 Cryo DMG when a Cryo attack triggers the reaction.

It is important for you to know that elements that do not apply status effects naturally upon hit by the element are not able to be used as a catalyst for Elemental Reactions such as Anemo. Thus, it must be applied last. Only Cryo applies an actual status effect. The other elements applying status effects are only used as catalysts for Elemental Reactions.
