All Locations to Find Pinecones in Genshin Impact
Basically, pinecones can be found in Mondstadt and Dragonspine. Sure, you may need to explore those locations in order to get pinecones. To make it easier to spot the location, it’s better for you to use the map.
Even though you can find pine cones around Mondstadt, but there are some specific locations that provide the pinecones. It means that not all locations in Mondstadt will give you pinecones. So, here’s a list of locations where you can find pinecones:
Location 1: Qingce Village
There are a number of pinecones available in Qingce Village. To get them, you just simply visit Qingce Village by using the teleportation waypoint by the village in Liyue. After teleportation, you will find a bridge. Here, you will find approximately 9 pinecones at any given time. If you are new to Genshin Impact, you can use the map first to know the exact location of Qingce Village.
Location 2: Stormbearer Mountains
Another location you should visit is Stormbearer Mountains where this location will give you a large amount of pinecones. Near Stormbearer Mountains Waypoint behind the Shrine of the Depths near the Anemo Hypostasis, you will find a cluster of pine cones that commonly provides roughly 10 pinecones. All you have to do is to always check them under the pine trees.
To get to this location, you just simply teleport to the northernmost waypoint on Stormbearer Mountains. You can also travel to the Anemo Hypostasis boss. To get pinecones, you have to run into multiple pine trees and take a pinecone there, along the way you reach the Anemo Hypostasis boss. For more information, the Stormbearer Mountains is the largest cluster in the area directly west of the Anemo boss.
Location 3: Wolvendom
In Mondstadt, you have to visit Wolvendom to collect a bunch of pinecones. This location is an Andrius’ home, the wolf of the North of the Four Winds. To find this location, you need to go directly north of Dawn Winery. Here, you will find a large number of pinecones that are scattered around. Of course, this is a great location to visit that will give you some extra pinecones to fill your inventory.
Location 4: Cape Oath
Cape Oath is the recommended location to get a large amount of pinecones. After you are at this location, you will see a number of pine trees with a near-endless supply of pinecones under them. To get to this location, you just head north of the teleporter on Cape Oath.
Aside from that, Cape Oath can be a great location to farm Electro Crystals and Iron. So, that’s why Cape Oath is a reliable place to visit to gather the pinecones regularly.

Recipe 1: Mondstadt Hash Brown
To cook Mondstadt Hash Brown, you definitely will need pinecones as the main ingredient. You can cook these dishes in Genshin Impact after completing the domain ‘Temple of the Wolf’ once you reach Adventure Rank 15.
The ingredients you will need to cook Mondstadt Hash Brown:

- 1 x Potato
- 1 x Jam
Additionally, Mondstadt Hash Brown has three quality levels including Normal, Delicious and Suspicious. Sure, each level will have each effect when your character consumes it, here’s for detail:

- Normal Level: At this level, it can restore 32% of maximum HP and an additional 1,250 HP.
- Delicious Level: At this level, it can restore 34% of maximum HP and an additional 1,900 HP.
- Suspicious Level: At this level, it can restore 30% of maximum HP and an additional 600 HP to the selected character. To note, it does not target other player’s characters in Co-Op mode.
Recipe 2: Sauteed Matsutake
You can get a Sauteed Matsutake recipe from Good Hunter for 5,000 Mora after you reach Adventure Rank 35. The ingredient you will need to cook this dishes include:

- 3 x Flour
- 2 x Pinecones
- 2 x Butter
Additionally, Sauteed Matsutake has three quality levels including Normal, Delicious and Suspicious. Sure, each level will have each effect when your character consumes it, here’s for detail:

- Normal Level: At this level, it can increase all party members’ ATK by 194 for 300 seconds.
- Delicious Level: At this level, it can increase all party members’ ATK by 228 for 300 seconds.
- Suspicious Level: At this level, it can increase all party members’ ATK by 160 for 300 seconds to the selected character. To note, it does not target other player’s characters in Co-Op mode.
Recipe 3: Puppy-Paw Hash Brown
You can get the recipe of Puppy-Paw Hash Brown after completing the domain ‘Temple of the Wolf’ after you reach Adventure Rank 15. The ingredients you will need to cook Puppy-Paw Hash Brown include:

- 1 x Potato
- 1 x Jam
If consumed, it will restore 40% of maximum HP and also give an additional 2,350 HP to the selected character. Just like most dishes, it does not target another player’s character in Co-Op Mode.
