Since the Perpetual Heart is a very important item in Genshin Impact, you must have this item in the game to ascend your character. This item is also a Character Ascension Material that is dropped by a Level 30+ Perpetual Mechanical Array.

According to some sources, the way to obtain the Perpetual Heart in Genshin Impact is by defeating the new Perpetual Mechanical Array world boss. You can find the boss off the coast of Araumi in Inazuma. At the first glance, you may see the boss located underwater.

As the bosses are automatically level 36 on World level 9, it’s highly recommended for you to have your characters at the same level as the boss or even higher. If you use a character with the same level as the boss, it will be easier for you to defeat the boss.

To find Perpetual Mechanical Arrays boss, you have to go to Jinren Island that is located north of Araumi. After that, you may need to summon an Electrogranum plant on a small island. Once it is available, you can use it to shoot up into the air into a portal above Jinren Island.

Afterwards, you can teleport between the Electro Crystals. Here, you will pass a portal to get and defeat the boss. If you successfully defeat the boss when it is level 30, the boss will drop a Perpetual Heart. However, you may not receive the item that you want every single time, as the drops that you obtain are all up to RNG.

In the case of defeating the boss, you may have to spend 40 Original resin. Aside from that, you can use the Condensed Resin stored to get double the rewards.

To easily spot the Perpetual Mechanical Arrays, you can open up your Adventure Handbook. Then, go to the Enemies Tab and find Perpetual Mechanical Arrays. After that, you can click on the ‘Navigate’ button. By doing this, it will show you where the Boss appears on your map.

In Genshin Impact, the Perpetual Mechanical Arrays is categorized as a normal boss that can be found under Jinren Island in the Inazuma region. If you want to fight the boss, you may need to access it through a portal that can be found in Jinren Island.

As an alternative way, you may need to unlock a Teleport Waypoint near the island as the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual quests. When the boss is defeated, you have to consume 40 original Resin to claim its drops  that consist of Artifacts and Character Ascension Materials for various Characters. For the Perpetual Mechanical Arrays to respawn, it may take roughly 3 minutes.

  • Defensive Mode: It can transform into Ruin Sentinels, assuming a defensive stance and launches for cube.
