Animal Crossing New Leaf Toy Day Villager Gift List

Just like the previous years, Christmas is one of the biggest festivals this year and the event called Toy Day was held on December 24^th, 2020 until December 25^th, 2020 in most Animal Crossing series on Christmas Eve. Even though the event has passed, it is necessary for you to know about this event so you will be familiar about it if you have a chance to participate in this event next year.

Some preparations are usually made before the event, including adding Christmas themed designs on the island and what is the best gift for the villagers. However, according to the video of Mayor Mori, there is no real preparation needed for such an event. All that you have to do is to simply log in the game on that day and take part in the event. You will be allowed to join in the event whether you wear Santa outfit or not. Aside from that, there will be no hints that are related to the presents when the villagers chat as well. Checking out the update is the only thing that you will have to do.

The winter update is usually confirmed to launch in November, along with the announcement of Turkey Day and Toy Day. A series of changes and adjustments in the game also released on the same day. For those who are not really familiar, the Toy Day is just like the typical event in the Animal Crossing game to celebrate Christmas. Just like the previous games, Jingle will visit the island on that day and asks for you to deliver the gifts to the villagers. Basically, you will be in charge as a delivery person like Santa. In case you want to get all the rewards offered by Jingle, you will have to give the right presents to the villagers. There are a few things for the players of the game to take note for this event, especially for the new players.

1. Talk to the villagers

Before the festival comes, you will need to know more about what the villagers want for Toy day. Once you have updated the game to the newest version in December, please start to walk around the island and speak with animal friends often as you might be given hints about the colors or the other features of the items they want. Do not forget to remember what they said.

2. Wear Santa outfit

The one who wears the complete set of Santa clothes talks to Jingle and helps him hand out the gifts for villagers. As the preparation of the Toy Day, it is better for the player to buy the Santa costumes once it is available in the game. In New Leaf, those Santa costumes include Santa Coat, Santa Pants, Santa Hat, Santa Beard, and Santa Boosts which are able to be purchased with Animal Crossing bells in Able Sisters and Kicks.

3. Meet Jingle on the Toy Day

On the event known as Toy Day, the event will start at some time of the day, maybe at 6 PM. Please remember to wear the complete set of the Santa outfit and find Jingle and he will give a magical Santa bag that has all the presents that you need to deliver to the villagers. Next thing is to speak to each villager and choose the right gift from the bag, and then send it to the villager. Once again, keep in mind to give all the presents to correct villagers and talk back to Jingle once you are done to get the rewards from him and probably a photo of him on the next day.
