About Pray or Prayer
In the world of Old School RuneScape, prayer, which is also more known as pray, can be described as non-members combat skill. This one is able to be trained. There are several ways to train it, such as burying bones, using it on an altar in the house owned by the player, using it on the altar in the Chaos Temple or hut, praying at the Ectofuntus with bonemeal and buckers of slimes, and killing the reanimated monsters that are summoned by using the Arceuus spellbook.
The thing called prayer is usually unlocked as the level in the skill goes up. Each of them is really helpful in the combat with Attack, Defense, Strength, Ranged, Magic, and Hitpoints. What makes it interesting is the fact that they have the ability to drain the prayer points of the player when they are activated. It will remain the same until they are turned off or when there is no prayer point left.
Activating a prayer is extremely easy. All that should be done is to simply click it. By doing so, a whitish circle will be shown around each active prayer. The moment the player clicks it, the moment the prayer points will be drained.
Apparently, most of the prayers are able to be activated instantly before the attack hits. Most of them are also able to be deactivated immediately if the players want to earn buffs and or protection without having to spend a lot of prayer points. The term used to call this kind of thing is prayer flicking.
This following table consists of the available prayers in Old School RuneScape. More than half of them can be used by the free-to-play players, while the rest is only available for the members.
