Now it is October and it means that in Minecraft there will be something new. October is identical with Halloween things and Minecraft also celebrates Halloween by having Spookyfest for Minecraft and Spookier Fall for Minecraft Dungeons. Let’s find out about it here.

Minecraft Dungeons Spooky Fall Event 2024

When will the Spooky Fall event in Minecraft Dungeons take place? This event has started since October 13th, 2024 and this event will take place until November 2nd, 2024. In this event, you are able to tackle scary seasonal trials and then you will get exclusive rewards such as the Phantom Bow, the Cackling Broom, and the Spooky Gourdian armor set.

As explained on the Windows Central site, you have to keep your wits about you to come out on top. However, you are able to deck your character out with the limited time gear afterwards. There are also some Minecraft Character Creator items which are modeled after the rewards from the Minecraft Dungeons Spookier Fall. It begins with the Spooky Gourdian which is available now.

Minecraft Spookyfest 2024

How about Minecraft Spookyfest 2024? This event revolves around the Minecraft Marketplace with new items which are new and limited edition added to the storefront throughout October. It is important for you to know that Minecraft Spookyfest only applies to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and it is not the legacy PC version, Java Edition.

According to the Windows Central site, here are the things that you need to know related to Spookyfest.

    • On October 13th, 2024
      There is a Character Creator item which is inspired from Minecraft Dungeons based  on the Jack-O-Lantern named Spooky Gourdian. This character creator item is added to the Marketplace and it is free until November 2nd, 2024.
    • On October 19th, 2024
      There will be a Character Creator item which is inspired from Minecraft Dungeons based on the Cauldron. This character creator item will be added to the Marketplace. However, it will be a premium paid item.
    • On October 26th, 2024
      There will be the Halloween Friends skin pack which will be added to the Marketplace. This skin pack will be free until November 2nd, 2024.
    • If certain Minecrafti items are bought by you from certain websites, there will be a code that you will get for the Minecraft Crafty Costumes skin pack.

The Announcement of The Minecraft Spookyfest in Minecraft

On October 1st, 2024, Minecraft posted an article posted in the Minecraft site written by Cristina Anderca about The Minecraft Spookyfest. In that post, it is explained that they will release all kinds of spooky surprises for Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons. In Minecraft Dungeons, there will be a Spooky Fall event so that you have to be ready to fight through new, scarier adventures and get some menacing gear.

In the Spookyfest, there are some special Halloween Minecraft Marketplace items and some of them are The Spooky Gourdian, The Cauldron Cover and Halloween Friends. On October 13th, there will be The Spooky Gourdon where this is a free Minecraft Dungeons-inspired Character Creator item based on the Jack-O-Lantern. This item is free until November 2nd, 2024 as explained earlier. On October 19th, you can get The Cauldron Cover. This is a Minecraft Dungeons-inspired Character Creator item and it is a paid item which is based on the Cauldron. And then, on October 26th, 2024, there will be Halloween Friends which is a free skin pack and it is free until November 2nd, 2024.

On that announcement, it is also explained that if you buy select Minecraft items on the Micrafan Shop (Japan) or on HalloweenCostumes.com between October 1st, 2024 and October 31st, 2024, there will be a special code that you will get for a free Minecraft Crafty Costumes Skin Pack with five spooky skins to use in Bedrock Edition.

Minecraft Live 2024

The Minecraft Halloween event above is not the only event that you can join. However, Minecraft also prepares another event namely Minecraft Live 2024. In this event, you are able to vote for your favorite mob to be added to Minecraft. This Minecraft Live 2024 event will take place on October 16th, 2024 at 9 am PDT / 12 pm EDT / 5 pm BST.

What can we do in this event? As explained earlier, you can vote for your favorite mobs from three mobs including the glare, the allay and the copper golem. What are the differences among these three mobs? If you want to vote for one of these mobs, of course you need to know about them first. The glare is a mob and this mob is like a ghost as you can see in the snippet of video in the Minecraft Youtube channel. The glare will warn players to a dark area and this mob has a green color. The allay is another mob where this is small and a vex-like mob. The allay is able to gather many items that you give to it and it likes music so that if it is in range of a note block, the mob will drop the items that it collects. The copper golem is the last mob which is announced by Minecraft to be voted in this event. The size of this mob is small and it is like a robot. The shape of this mob is like a robot.
