Who is Jolyne?
If you are a fan of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series, you will be familiar with a character name called Jolyne. Yeah… She is one of the main protagonist characters found in the sixth part of the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure series, Stone Ocean and the sixth Jojo of the series.
According to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Wiki, Jolyne is the daughter of an American woman and Jotaru Kujo, the protagonist of Stardust Crusaders. Jolyne spent most of her childhood without a father figure. Why? That’s because Jotaru always traveled around the world.
When she was at the age of 14, she began to spiral downward after being mistaken for a suspect in a robbery that she did not commit. After being arrested on false charges and imprisoned in a holding cell, Jolyne and her mother pleaded her innocence and begged Jotaro to bail her out. However, her father did not believe her, and then she was sent to juvenile detention.
Aside from that, Jolyne was also trapped for a DUI Murder. Finally, she is sent to Green Dolphin Street Prison in which she investigates and battles DIO’s most trusted discipline Father Enrico Pucci. During her time in jail, Jolyne quickly awakened her string-based Stand, Stone Free.
Talking about Jolyne’s appearance, she is described as a young woman of above-average height. In the series, it can be seen that Jolyne wears her hair in two layers; above part with dyed or bleached that she keeps a plait or braid which winds around both buns and dark base including two large buns atop her head with short length going down her neck, joining in a short length at back and bangs which frame her face.
Jolyne also has powers and abilities including Stand-Stone Free, Skilled Hand-to-Hand Fighter and Cunning and Intelligent.
About her strength, it is said that Jolyne can rip a policeman’s ear with a string and also break down another Stand user through a fence. With Stone Free abilities, Jolyne can crush gold and can change the trajectory of bullets.
