This one is the tool that will help you to make efficient factories in the game called Factorio by letting you know the amount of machines that you need to craft items. If you are not familiar with the thing known as Factorio Calculator Bob’s Mod or Factorio Assembly Calculator and you have no idea how it works, below is step by step that you need to follow to use this calculator:
- The first thing that you have to do is to select File > Make a copy near the top of the page. it should be done to copy the spreadsheet into your own Google account. Please sign in to Google first in case the option is grayed out.
- Now, you should be allowed to make changes to your own copy of the spreadsheet. Please click the Items tab located at the bottom. For your information, the sheet consists of all creating recipes in the game. If you want to come back, you can just simply click the Instructions tab.
- When you are in the Items sheet, the item that you want to assemble has to be clicked. For example, if you want Sience Pack 2, you can just click it to select it.
- Close to the top, there is Factorio menu. Please choose it and then choose Assembly for Selected Item. In order to run it, it is needed for you to give the script permission.
- The next step is to fill out the information such as the amount of time you want to make in how much time. You can just leave it blank for the defaults.
- By doing so, you will be taken to a new sheet named Calculations. Aside from that, you will also unveil all of the requirements needed to make in the time that has been given. In addition, you will also be informed the amount of machines each one will take.
In addition to these, there are also other menus that you can try out. The first one is Ratios for Selected Item. This one will tell you the ratios between the items and their ingredients. The second one is Recipes using Selected Item. This one will tell you the other items that use that item as their ingredient. In this one, feel free to also change the machines and the list of the Items will be updated.
Apparently, everyone is allowed to customize the list of the Items to fit their needs. For instance, you can adjust the Speed x value in case you have Speed modules on specific items.
