In Factorio, there is a logistic science pack or also better known as ‘green science’. This is the second tier of science packs that is commonly used in labs to research technologies. When performing research, the players will need to consume different types of green science.
To make it easier for you to build and have a good radio, the green science blueprints are the perfect choice. These blueprints have been designed with consideration in mind, so that you can start up small and then add more tiles later if a quick-research is needed. So, let’s see the Factorio Green Science blueprint in our post below!
Where to Get Factorio Green Science Blueprint?
Because the Green Science blueprint is too long to post on this page, we recommend you to visit factorioprints.com to get the blueprint of Green Science. To make it easier and faster to get the Green Science blueprint, you can just click this link.
Once you are at factorioprints.com, you can then click on the ‘Copy to Clipboard’ button to start copying the blueprint. Afterwards, you can paste and use the blueprint in your game. Even though it says that it’s good for Early to Mid game, you can remain to use these blueprints in the end game if you only upgrade to assembler 3, stack inserters, blue belts and also put in a bunch of modules.
Furthermore, in the end game, a beaconed approach with modules is going to save more space or resources, but it would require a full redesign. Because each type of tile generates a different amount of science pack, ensure to build tiles in this ratio in order to balance the production of science to multiples of 1.5/s: Red: 1 tile, Green: 1 tile, Blue: 2 tiles, Grey: 2 tiles, Purple: 2 tiles and Yellow: 2 tiles.
This science pack ration is available at factorioprints.com.Here are they:
-
- Red (Automation) science 1.5/s – Inputs: Copper 1.5/s, Iron 3/s
- Red (Automation) science 1.5/s (Gear-input) – Inputs: Copper 1.5/s, Gears 1.5/s.
- Green (Logistic) science 1.5/s – Inputs: Iron 6.75/s, Green circuits 1.5/s.
- Green (Logistic) science 1.5/s (Gear-input) – Inputs: Iron 2.25/s, Gears 2.25/s, Green circuits 1.5/s.
- Blue (Chemical) science 0.75/s – Inputs: Iron 3/s, Steel 0.75/s, Red circuits 1.125/s / Sulfur 0.375/s.
- Grey (Military) science 0.75/s – Inputs: Coal 3.75/s, Iron 3.375/s, Bricks 3.75/s, Steel 0.375/s, Copper 1.875/s.
- Purple (Production) science 0.75/s – Inputs: Steel 6.25/s, Iron 1.875/s, Stone 3.75/s, Bricks 2.5/s, Red circuits 2.5/s, Green circuits 1.25/s.
- Yellow (Utility) science 0.75/s – Inputs: Iron 1/s, Batteries 0.5/s, Lubricant 3.75/s, Green circuits 1.25/s, Steel 2/s, Processing units 0.5/s, Copper 15/s, Plastic 3.75/s.
- Yellow (Utility) science 0.75/s (Low density structure-input) – Inputs: Iron 1/s, Batteries 0.5/s, Lubricant 3.75/s, Green circuits 1.25/s, Steel 0.5/s, Processing units 0.5/s, Low density structure 0.75/s.
Recipe of Green Science/ Logistic Science Pack
According to Factorio Wiki, the following displays the minimum ratio of assemblers/ machines and items that are required to generate logistic science packs such that all numbers of assemblers/ machines are whole numbers.
In this case, the items per min will be calculated with assembling machine 3 with no modules or beacons and all assemblers running at full speed. The crafting of some intermediate products will not be shown, because of the assumption that those items are available in large quantities within the factory.
Here are the recipe of green science or logistic science pack in two modes:
1. Normal Mode
Here’s for the recipe on normal mode:
-
- 6 x time + 1 x inserter + 1 x transport bell = 1 x logistic science pack
With the total raw of:
-
- 8.75 (time) + 1.5 (copper plate) + 5.5 (iron plate)
It results in a stack size of 200 and is produced by Assembling machine 1, Assembling machine 2, Assembling machine 3 and Crafting.
2. Expensive Mode
Here’s for the recipe on expensive mode:
-
- 6 x time + 1 x inserter + 1 x transport bell = 1 x logistic science pack
With the total raw of:
-
- 10 (time) + 4 (copper plate) + 9.5 (iron plate)
It results in a stack size of 200 and is produced by Assembling machine 1, Assembling machine 2, Assembling machine 3 and Crafting.
What Are the Types of Science Pack in Factorio?
In Factorio, there are many types of science packs available. It is known that science packs are required by labs to do research. Of course, researching technologies will need a particular number of different types of science packs that is then multiplied by a particular value to obtain the tech cost.
For example, physical projectile damage 3 will require one automation science pack and one logistic science pack and also military science pack to start researching. However, it will also need this to be input into labs a total of 300 times, increasing the research cost to 300 automation science packs, 300 military science packs, and 300 logistics science packs.
Here are the types of science pack, along with their recipes:
1. Automation science pack
-
- Recipe: 5 x time + 1 x copper plate + 1 x iron gear wheel = 1 automation science pack
- Total raw: 5.5 (time), 2 (iron plate), 1 (copper plate)
2. Logistic Science Pack
-
- Recipe: 6 x time + 1 x transport belt + 1 x inserter = 1 logistic science pack
- Total raw: 8.75 (time), 5.5 (iron plate), 1.5 (copper plate)
3. Military Science Pack
