For everyone who are looking for Ascension material and want to craft some useful potions, you can get one of the valuable resources named Dandelion Seeds. However, it is not easy to find them by yourself and it may take forever to do so. Not only that, it may be needed for you to aid an Anemo ally to actually find all of them. Actually, you can use any Anemo attack on a Dandelion plant, so you will have to get a minimum of one Anemo character to join the team.
Instead of waiting for the Elemental Skill cooldowns, Sucrose is the best option as she is good at using her normal attack to collect the Dandelion Seeds. However, in case there are no new Anemo characters from the Wishes yet, the alternative is to use the Traveler. To be able to do this, you will have to make sure that the active Element of Traveler is Anemo and not Geo.
If you want to find a lot of Dandelion Seeds, you are suggested to keep reading the post until the end of the sentence as you will be informed about the whole thing.
Dandelion Seeds are known as one of the local specialties of the Mondstadt region. If you are curious, some other local specialties of this region include Wolfhook and Cecilia flowers. The thing that sets Dandelion Seeds apart from the other Mondstadt specialties is the fact that it is not able to be bought from the traders. Then, what should be done to get the Dandelion Seeds?
As there is no way to get Dandelion Seeds through trading, the only option is to explore the wild to get them. The Mondstadt region has a total of 52 Dandelion Seeds. Where are those exactly?
To be able to find these Dandelion Seeds in the Mondstadt region, it is better for you to take a look at the map to see each location before starting the journey to get them. It is worth noting that the Dandelion Seeds take about three real world days to regrow. The moment you get a character such as Jean or Eula from the Wishes, the best for you to use them immediately to collect these Dandelion Seeds.
As of now, the best place to collect Dandelion Seeds is in front of the Mondstadt gates. For those who leave the city before continuing the journey by crossing the stone bridge, you will be able to find a total of three Dandelion plants directly to your right. Apart from that, there are also a total of six to your left. Keep in mind that the last two of the six are a bit far away and you will have to go to the north. When you run over the bridge to the east, you will be able to find two more Dandelion Seeds just right of the thing known as the Temple of the Falcon which is located on the top of the cliff. It is important to take note of the locations in this area in order to collect the eleven Dandelion Seeds easily each three days.
On the cliffs southwest of the Dawn Winery is the second best location to find Dandelion. Getting to this place may take a little more time but it has a decent stock of Dandelion. You are able to get up to ten Dandelion Seed in the location. To reach there, the first thing that you need to do is to teleport to the new Ridge Watch dungeon. Then, run along the edge of the cliff towards the northwest. Please keep going until you are able to see a small pond below. For your information, the first Dandelion plants are located behind it. From there, it should be easy for you to spot them. You can just glide down to get all of them.
The sad news is that it is said that the remaining Dandelion plants are less concentrated. For everyone who does not want to run too far, you are able to collect two more Dandelions by going to the north of the Teleport Waypoint at Cape Oath. In addition, you are also able to go south of the Status of the Seven in Starfell Lake to find a total of three more. By visiting all the locations mentioned before, you will be able to get 26 Dandelion Seeds in total.
Contrary to the popular beliefs, the official page of Dandelion Seed on Wiki shows that Dandelion Seed is also able to be obtained by purchasing it from an NPC named Karpillia for 60,000.
After getting all these Dandelion Seeds, you may want to use them as they have a lot of advantages for the players in the game. One of these advantages is to craft them to get some items. There are three items that can be crafted from the Dandelion Seeds. The first one is Gushing Essential Oil. To craft it, x1 Dandelion Seed is needed with the addition of x1 Lizard Tail and x100 Mora. The second one is Windbarrier Potion. If you want to make it, you will have to get x1 Crystal Core, x1 Dandelion Seed and x100 Mora as the recipe. The third one is Anemoculus Resonance Stone. Just like Jean, Eula needs 168 Dandelion Seeds in total to reach her maximum Ascension level.
If you are wondering whether there are weapons that need Dandelion Seed for ascension, apparently, there is no one as of now.
