The Galleon is the kind of big ship. This one is able to accommodate a maximum of 4 crew members. For these crew members to operate it efficiently, teamwork is needed. Compared to the first two, this ship makes slower turns and requires more energy to raise the anchor. What makes it better compared to the others is that it is better armed and the chance of it to sink is lower.

Then, how to get different ships in Sea of Thieves easily? Apparently, a new ship is automatically spawned when a player or team of players form a Crew and it does not cost anything to spawn a basic ship. As for the cosmetic ship customizations, they are able to be purchased via in-game currency, and once they are owned by the player, they are able to be applied and swapped to the current ship and since there is no limit, feel free to do as much as they want.

As a new ship is automatically spawned when a Crew is formed, it means you can just make a Crew if you want to get a new ship in Sea of Thieves. If you are interested in forming a Crew to be able to get different ships, below is the information for you.

Just like the ships, crews also have some variations, including open and closed crew. Open crews are the ones that are automatically assembled. These kinds of crews can consist of either your friends or just random players. Here is the list of the steps that you have to follow:

    1. The first thing that you have to do is to load Sea of Thieves.
    2. When it loads, start a new game.
    3. After that, you will be able to choose the size of the crew, from the Sloop option (2 players max) to the Galleon option (4 players max).
    4. Feel free to choose the size of the ship that is suitable to you.
    5. By choosing any option, a new pop up will then show up. In this pow up, there is an Invite a Player option that can be used to include your friends in the game.
    6. However, if you want to join a random crew, all that you have to do is to choose the option to start the game without having to send an invitation.
    7. In the end, you will either be put on a vessel with the other random players or be spawned onto a new vessel and wait for the other random players to join.

As the one who gets your invitation, there are several methods that another player can choose to accept the invitation. Firstly, they can accept the message that can be found in a pop up window within their session. Alternatively, they can accept it using the Xbox Game Bar.

As for the closed or arena crews, they consist of those who have specifically been invited to join. The only thing that makes them different is the size of the crew. If you are interested in joining either one of them, instead of sending an invitation, you will have to wait to be invited instead. In other words, the one who should invite you is another player. To make it possible, you will have to be friends with the one that you want to invite you on the Xbox application for Windows. Aside from that, there are no other ways.
