Kelly Baskin is behind Amber, the archer knight, that is also the first character shown in the Genshin Impact game, beside Paimon. She is an English voiceover actor who is based in Los Angeles, the United States. She specializes in animation, video games, commercial, narration, training videos, singing, eLearning, ADR/looping, corporate videos, explainer videos, podcasts, toys and games, and so on. The girl with BFA in musical theatre has been on this field since 2014.
A lot of people usually stick with Amber and have no intention to use the other ones as Amber is the first character to join the party. The case especially applies for the casual players. Everyone will recognize her voice by the time she leaves their party. The voice actor for Amber has, Kelly Baskin, has largely involved in some TV shows. She is included in one of the few on the list with the little anime and video game involvement. It is named as her first credit appearance in a video game.
Genshin Impact is growing since its first release in September. People just love anime characters and the world full of monster offered by the game. The developers of the game called miHoYo clearly know what should be done to make something big. Some people think that it the fantastic cast of voice actors is one of the strongest selling points of the game as they bring life to all the characters.
Genshin Impact uses the voice actors with fully voice. The only exception is your very own voiceless player character. It is true that the lost Traveler does not have their own voice, but a lot of colorful inhabitants add the feel to their fantasy world.
When Genshin Impact was launched for the first time, no one knew who was playing which character in English. They had dubs, but the information about the casts were kind of mystery. To answer the curiosity, the developers have been gradually revealing who all of the English Genshin Impact voice actors are through their official Twitter account. As you probably guess, they started with Amber, one of the first character that the player meets.

If you see the list, you will notice that it is incomplete as it lacks the official voice actress for the player companion Paimon. Maybe it will be revealed who voices Poimon in the English version. As stated before, miHoYo has been revealing the voice actors behind the Genshin Impact’s characters and it seems like the full list will be made available in the future, especially when the story of the game is released.
miHoYo promised to keep making improvement. Apart from that, they also promised future updates will make more areas playable. Actually, the possibility of more stories and characters added in the future is still unknown. However, you can wish your favorite actors to join the team in this game in future updates.
Apparently, an unintroduced character called Dainsleif is also taken by veteran actor and everyone’s favorite Yuri Lowenthal. It looks exciting to hear his performance. Are you excited as well? Do not miss the chance to be the first one to hear his voice acting as Dainsleif by keeping up the updates.
The list above does not include the talented voice actors and actresses that help make the Japanese, Chinese, and Korean versions of Genshin Impact. It has been known that unlike the English counterparts, the Japanese voice actors mostly revolve around the same industry. In the other words, the voices in the Japanese version of Genshin Impact are mostly the actual anime voice actors. It makes the Japanese version to sound like an anime production.
