Guide to Complete the Altar of Reflection Catalyst Quest
Obtaining Catalyst in Altar of Reflection is one of the Witch Queen quests. To complete Altar of Reflection: Catalyst quest, you may need to pass some stages ahead until you successfully complete the quest. Here’s a list of guides that you should do to complete the Altar of Reflection: Catalyst.
Step 1: Reach the Altar of Reflection
You can reach the Altar of Reflection by going through Miasma. This is such a short rute where you can use your Sparrow throughout all of it. So, it makes your way a lot quicker. You will then spawn in The Quagmire and you need to take the left path towards Miasma. After that, you can take another left on the path near the white tower.
Aside from this way, you can also run through for extra style points. Then, you need to follow the road to the right to achieve Miasma.
Another alternative you can take to reach the Altar of Reflection is by marking the quest location that points to the Altar of Reflection on your HUD. By doing this, the game will inform you to go through Quagmire and past the Temple of the Wrathful.
Step 2: Reach a Deepsight site
After you arrive in the depths of Altar of Reflection, you need to reach a Deepsight site that you need to interact with. You will then see a distinct green glow outline on the walls, while only minor changes are made to the area.
Step 3: Get Altar of Reflection Catalyst
In the Altar of Reflection, you need to reveal and line up the lights on the wall to make the Witch Queen symbol. You definitely should line it up here, so you can make the Witch Queen symbol. After that, the portal will appear and you can continue the quest.
(Until this way, you’ve already completed the Altar of Reflection quest where you just need to get the catalyst in this location).
However, if you want to complete the Altar of Reflection quests, (not only obtaining the Catalyst), you can see the next guide below.
Step 4: Complete a puzzle in Altar of Reflection
After making the Witch Queen Symbol, the mirror will appear. Then, you can walk through it. You may need to solve a puzzle that Savathun gives to you after you arrive at the pool. The Puzzle: Cursed Pools will require you to stand in a specific location that matches the symbol at the center.
After solving the Puzzle: Cursed Pools, you may need to complete another Altar of Reflection puzzle called Puzzle: Rune Patterns. This puzzle allows you to shoot at the unique rune symbol when it appears.
After completing the Puzzle, you will need to deal with waves of Hive in the following room. They will be seen similarly to the other Altar of Reflection challenges with a main Hive boss, one with light and also multiple smaller enemies that you should fight.
Step 5: Report the Altar of Reflect
Once you reach the end of the tunnel, you will then play through a memory that will detail The Enigma Glaive even further. After that, you will need to report back to the Evidence Board to share what you have learned.
Once logging the report, you will be able to review the evidence that you have collected during the quest and then complete the quest.
Okay, that’s how to complete the Altar of Reflection quest. If you also want to complete this quest, you can get started by reaching the Altar of Reflection, reaching a Deepsight site, obtaining the Catalyst, completing the Altar of Reflection puzzle and then reporting the Altar of Reflect. That’s it!
