Wellspring is a new six-player activity in the game of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. This activity is free to all players. It offers a unique way to obtain the weapons associated with it. Just continue reading the following text to get more information about Wellspring in Destiny 2.
Wellspring Not Dropping Loot in Destiny 2
Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expansion brought with it the six-man Wellspring activity. In it, the guardians have to assault the Wellspring and stop the Darkness. Of course, this is not necessarily going to be easy and the guardians should be prepared to fight against a horde of Scorn.
By the way, how about the Wellspring not dropping loot in Destiny 2? When you search for this information, we are sure that you cannot find more information about this. Actually, this is one of the game issues. For this case, you are able to go to forum to get more information. However, we all know that we need to unlock the Wellspring to start participating and obtaining rewards. In the previous article, we have explained the way to unlock Wellspring in Destiny 2.
Playing the Wellspring: Defend in Destiny 2
The Wellspring will be able to be launched directly from its own node in Savathun’s Throne World. As a player, you are able to hop in at any time. Remember that this six-man matchmade activity owns three different stages, finishing with a boss fight.
Step 1: Defend
This step will involve based on the area in The Wellspring from a Scorn assault. The area is marked obviously with a white circle, so you have to stay inside it to take control of the area. When the meter reaches 100, then the first part ends. Of course, the Scorn will not let you take it easily. There will be many opponents to discover. The Abominations in the back of the room ahead of you are going to spam lightning bolts which can take down unsuspecting guardians, however the team should be fine if the Abominations go down quickly.
You have to be careful with the hordes of Scorn in the stairs in front of you and on both left and right. Please keep an eye out on your radar for any opponents dropping by and take care of them fast before they are able to overrun your fireteam. A Warlock with Well of Radiance and Phoenix Protocol will be able to make this section fairly negligible given the Super regen from the Exotic and the number of Orbs of Power your fireteam may create.
Step 2: Destroy Cruxes
The next part will bring a familiar feeling to anyone who has done Beyond Light or the Crux of Darkness Public Events in Europa. Cruxes of Darkness are going to spawn throughout the area, alongside a small number of Pyramid Spikes that also appear in the Throne World Public Event. You have to shoot down the Spikes around each Crux until you reach the end of the room.
After the first set of Pyramids, then a Scorn Walker will spawn. Take it out and continue to kill the enemies and shoot the Pyramid Spikes. Because the layout of the room is a staircase, you are going to have the high ground on your enemies more often than not, so use that advantage. Aside from that, due to the sheer number of opponents, ensure to bring something with crowd control or which can take down the Spikes quickly.
After you clear the end of the room, then you are going to have a short boss fight ahead before the real boss phase begins. Please bring something heavy, use the rally banner, and get ready.
Step 3: Vezuul (Lightflayer)
After you activate the Rally Banner and start the encounter, Vezuul will appear with several Scorn in tow. Please take out the ads, focus fire on the boss, and then melt him. He will retreat. The fireteam will go right behind him. For this part, Vezuul will own three immunity phases. Each immunity phase will start when he summons a Crux to shield him and ends once the team has destroyed all its Spikes. Mind the Scorn add that he will spawn, because they might be a nuisance if left unchecked. Please clear the area, then shoot the Spikes and brace for more.
If you are going to bring a sword, you have to keep an eye out for the boss’ melee attack that makes a fiery pit below its feet and also can be enough to take down a guardian if they do not rush away too far. After taking down the boss, you are free to get your loot and the Throne World reputation which comes with Wellspring completions.

Similar with the activity changes daily, the potential weapon reward also rotates. There are four weapons which are exclusive to the Wellspring:
