How to Fix LG IMS Has Stopped Error

Fortunately, there is a Reddit user who shared the way to fix this issue and there are a lot of people who say that this method works. Here is the way to fix the IMS Has Stopped error.

    • The first thing that you have to do is to turn on Airplane mode. It can be done by opening Settings and then choosing Enable Airplane Mode.
    • After you enable the Airplane mode, then you have to open Settings and then open Apps and Notifications.
    • Here, you have to choose App Info.
    • Now, the thing that you have to do is to click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen and then you have to choose Show System.
    • In this step, you have to choose com.lge.ims.rcsprovider.
    • Then, you need to open Storage.
    • After that, you have to choose Clear Data and then choose Clear Cache.
    • Then, you can go back to Storage and you have to click on the Force Stop.

It is important for you to note that you may have to do the steps above several times until the error can be resolved. If you have done so, you can turn off the Airplane mode.
