Then, Cody Rhodes debuted a character named Stardust, together with his half-brother Goldust. Now, almost six years after his departure, Cody Rhodes could soon be back in the WWE. That is because Ariel Helwani has reported that the company is in talks about a return in the near future.

Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes, founding members of AEW (All Elite Wrestling) have decided to depart the company. On February 15, 2022, the couple issued their own statements sharing the news. Also, AEW (All Elite Wrestling) released its own statement, in which they talked regarding integral the couple were in launching the promotion.

AEW president and CEO Tony Khan said that Cody’s ability combined with his boldness and his passion for their industry and his love for community outreach helped AEW (All Elite Wrestling) deliver on their mission to give the fans what they required for far too long, something new and innovative. Also, the statement said that Brandi Rhodes was a fighter both in and out of the ring in terms of inclusion and charitable causes.

So far, Cody Rhodes or Brandy Rhodes has publicly said why they have left the AEW (All Elite Wrestling). However, according to TMZ, sources have said that Cody Rhodes and CEO Tony Khan had several kinds of drama behind the scenes. Cody Rhodes and CEO Tony Khan are said to have started butting heads when Tony Khan became more of a well-known figure within the promotion. However, that did not stop Cody Rhodes from saying positive things about Tony Khan when he released his statement about leaving the AEW (All Elite Wrestling).
