The lawyers that represent Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre filed documents on Tuesday in the federal court in New York. These two agreed that both parties had reached an agreement or settlement for an undisclosed sum and a substantial donation to the charity belonging to Mrs. Giuffre in support of the victim’s rights. Apparently, the settlement was made out of the court. As for the amount of the settlement and donation, it was not disclosed.

As stated in the letter, the parties anticipate filing a stipulation of dismissal of the case within thirty (30) days. Meanwhile, a London lawyer with the international firm Ince named Nick Goldstone told USA TODAY that a settlement in principle needs to be ratified by court order and until they see that, he would not hold the breath too deeply as all he needs is to be dotted and to be crossed. However, he said that it was still a good day and a huge relief for the royal family. Furthermore, he said that in the terms of the court of public opinion, this looks like an admission of bad conduct on the part of Prince Andrew and he suspected that he will remain off of the spotlight from the royal family for the rest of his life.
