Before using Cash App ATM, you should know that Cash App does not offer free ATM withdrawals. According to ValuePenguin, you will be charged between $1.50 and $3.50 in ATM fees for the average out of network withdrawal. Besides, there is a fee of $2 per transaction charged by Cash App. It means it is not free to withdraw Cash App funds from an ATM. The good news is that there is a way to avoid those fees. For those who get $300 or more in paychecks, Cash App will instantly cover ATM fees, including ATM operator fees. Everything will be directly deposited by them to your Cash App every month. After getting $300 in paychecks, every qualifying deposit after will add an extra 31 days of ATM fee reimbursements. Once your direct deposit hits your account, make sure to activate free ATM withdrawal.
In order to avoid Cash App fees, you can also use your Cash Card that takes Visa cards instead of using cash to shop or to buy food. Aside from that, you can also invite any individual you owe money to join the app and send it to them through the app. Keep in mind that the more Cash App is used to pay money digitally, the less it will be needed for you to withdraw from the Cash App ATMs and to be charged with the ATM fees and withdrawal limits.
In case you fail to find a free ATM for a Cash App card near your place, you are recommended to transfer the money in your account to your bank. After transferring it, you can use your debit card at the ATM of your bank in order to withdraw the cash when you need it. While it is true that it is a bit complicated and requires an extra step, at least you will not get charged.
If you want to transfer money from your Cash App to your bank account, here is the guide to follow:
-
- Firstly, you need to open the app called Cash App.
- When it opens, log in to your account.
- After logging in to your Cash App account, the next thing that you have to do is to tap on the “$” icon. You should do it to check the balance in your Cash app account.

- Then, enter the amount that you want to send out to your bank account.
- After that, choose the transaction mode from the Instant or Standard.
