Before you are able to use SAP Concur tool, you have to sign up first to have an account. How do we create an account? There are two methods for signing up in SAP Concur as explained on the SAP Concur Community and those include Self-Registration and Creating SAP Concur account by your company.
Creating SAP Concur Account by Yourself
Before you create an SAP Concur account, you have to make sure that your company uses SAP Concur. And it is important for you to note that you can only create your SAP Concur account by yourself if your company uses Concur Travel. If your company uses Concur Invoice or Concur Expense, you cannot register by yourself.
Another thing that you have to note related to self-registration is that this method is not used often and companies which use this method need to enable this method and send out email communication to all employees where it includes a link for the employees for accessing and giving them the ability to register by themselves.
Here are the steps to sign up to SAP Concur by yourself.
- First, you need to copy the registration link which is given by your company and it will open the registration page.
- And now, you are required to complete all required fields on the registration page.
- After completing all fields, you have to click on the Submit button.
- There will be a message which confirms that the account was created and to expect a follow-up email with instructions to sign in.
However, if there is an issue with your registration, an error message will appear where it informs you about which information that you have to correct.
Creating SAP Concur Account by Your Company
Most SAP Concur customers use this method to create accounts for their employees. The thing that will happen in this method is that your company will take information from the HR or Payroll department. The information is needed for setting up your SAP Concur account. After the account has been created, then you will get a notification in your email and it will contain your assigned username and a link to reset your password. It is important for you to note that after you receive the email, you have to click on the link to reset your password immediately because the link is available for 24 hours.
