When you want to buy Aetna products, you can do it on Producer World. However, most Aetna members do not know yet how to use the Producer World. Whereas, accessing the Producer World is pretty easy to do, as long as you really understand each navigation that will lead you for easy transactions.

If you are a new member of Aetna, you may also not know yet what the Producer World is and how to use it. No worries! This post will guide you to find out everything related to the Producer World and how to use it to buy Aetna products. Let’s get started!

What is the Producer World?

Aetna Producer World is a secure portal for producers who are licensed to sell Aetna products. This secure portal is used to put all of your tools in one place. The firm employees who are not appointed can request access from the principal of their firm.

After logging into the Producer World, you will get the information and tools that you have to support your sales. You may find a bunch of things, depending on the size of your clients, including:

    • Product availability by service area
    • Reporting
    • Quoting and status tools
    • Compensation services
    • Certification and personal contact information
    • Direct deposit
    • License and appointed information
    • Certification and personal contact information

How to Use Aetna Producer World?

It’s important to note, if you’ve not received a Writing Number, you will not see a lot of features available at Producer World. Meanwhile, the Producer World site will be available after you’ve completed certifications and received your Writing Number.

After you have received a Writing Number, you can start using the Producer World by logging into the site with your account. After you are at the Producer World page, you can then click on Individual Medicare in the black bar towards the top of the page.

Here, you will find a bunch of quick links, including:

    • Producer Guide: This guide just for you that has the answers to a lot of your questions and they will be easy to find.
    • Certifications: This link will lead you to get access to the Aetna/ SilverScript certifications.
    • Enrollment Kits: This link will give you access for ordering, printing and downloading.
    • Contracting: This link will lead you to access Forms, Onboarding and Guidelines.
    • SilverScript Portal: This link can be used when managing your PDP sales with Aetna.

If you do not select to use the Quick Links, the tabs will divide the information, so you can find what you want easier.

  • Access Aetna Plans

To find out the Aetna plans, you may need to access the Plan Information in the first tab that includes the MA/MAPD/DSNP information by clicking on the proper links under MA/MAPD.

Furthermore, the PDP information can be found under the SilverScript PDP. You definitely can find the First Looks for the year, the ANOC Plan changes, the plan guides and the OTC catalogs. You definitely can compare estimated costs and plan as well as view the plan documents including Summary of Benefits, Evidence of Coverage and Formulary.

  • Requirements to Sell

The ‘Requirements to Sell’ tab contains everything that you should know to be ready to sell PDP products and Aetna MAPD. To sell Aetna MA/MAPD or SilverScript PDP products, the producers should complete a bunch of requirements to be ‘ready to sell’ and receive a notice from Aetna that indicates that they’re ready to sell.

To be ‘ready to sell’, it  allows you to:

    1. Be eligible to gain compensation
    2. Order enrollment kits
    3. Request the Ascend Virtual Sales Office app that include e-kit and RATE tools
    4. Get access to customizable marketing materials on the Aetna Medicare Marketing Studio

  • Learn

The ‘Learn’ tab contains several drop-down menus including tools, resources and guidance for your convenience. The materials that are available on this tab are for agent use only. The tools will help you market and sell, reference flyers, trainingviews, sales and educational events, etc.

  • Share

Through the ‘Share’ tab, you will get access to sales, marketing, member forms and also educational materials that you can share with your clients.

  • Network

There are a bunch of provider directories under the ‘Network’ tab, links to find providers online for Aetna, Innovation Health and Allina Health. Aside from that, you can also find in-network pharmacies.

  • Enroll

Through the ‘Enroll’ tab, you will find the information about e-kits, Ascend Virtual Sales Office app or RATE. In this tab, you will be able to print, download, or also order plan guides, enrollment kits and other useful materials.

  • Report

Through the ‘Reports’ tab, you can access reporting. You can find your book of a business report and the pending application report in the ‘Report’ tab. If you want to know about a specific member, you will be able to search by just that member.

Member search option actually provides status by individual member including Medicare ID, Member ID, Member Name or Application ID. There are two tabs available in member information and commision details, including Member Information and Commission Details.

If you have an agency, you can access your personal book of business and the agency’s information. In this case, the commision payee reports will be available in this tab.

  • Compensation

The ‘Compensation’ tab contains the detailed information on how and when Aetna pays compensation for your hard work and many more. Aside from the resources, this tab also refers to your contract and the applicable compensation schedule attachments that are provided to you by Aetna.

So far, there’s any conflict between the information available in the compensation tab and the terms of your contracts  including the applicable compensation schedules with Aetna and the terms of the contract shall apply.

How to Register Aetna Producer World?

The simplest and easiest way to register Aetna Producer World is accessing the Registration Page here. After clicking the link, you need to choose registration path that describes you in detail including:

    • You are an individual agent/ broker appointed with Aetna
    • You are the principal of a firm.
    • You are an agent/broker/employee associated with a firm appointed with Aetna
    • You are the firm employee selected to set up Producer World access for other employees

After you choose your registration path, you have to fill out the short form to get access. Well, you have to follow the further instructions shown on your screen until your registration is completed.
