- Choose “In Facility” to schedule a call which will take place at the facility. Or, you can choose “Out of Facility” to schedule a call which you will connect to from your own computer.
- Afterwards, choose a Date and Time for the scheduled video call.
- Make sure your JailATM account has enough funds to schedule the call. If not, you will be asked to choose or submit a payment method. Next, you need to follow the instructions to complete the transaction and schedule your video call.
For note: There is no cost for ‘In Facility’ video calls.
The Way to Connect to a Scheduled Call
Here is how:
- Firstly, log in to your JailATM Account within five minutes after the call start time.
- After that, click “My Account.”
- Then, you can click “Calling.”
- Please click “My Scheduled Calls.”
- The last step, click the “Connect” button.
The Way to Make a Direct Dial Call

JailATM Video Visitation Setup and Troubleshooting
Before your first video visitation or if you are having trouble with a video visitation, you can follow the steps below.
Preparation:
- Make sure that your Chrome is recommended for windows. And, Safari is recommended for IOS.
- Try to Connect and Test the Microphone
- Also, try to Connect and Test the Webcam
Keep in mind that for video visitation, camera and microphone permissions are required. Please give permission if asked. Or, you can check your browser/Flash settings.
Video Test:
- Firstly, click on “My Account.”
- Then, click on “Calling.”
- After that, click on “Video Test.”
- Please follow all instructions.
If you do not meet the expectations set in step four, you are most likely having a problem with your hardware.
Volume Troubleshooting
You should use a headset with a microphone attached. Using a microphone with speakers will be able to cause feedback which impacts the quality of sound.
To check audio problems:
- Ensure that audio cables are connected and undamaged.
- Ensure that volume mixer is turned up.
- Ensure that external speakers are on and turned up.
- Ensure that default audio device is set to the appropriate speakers
- Please test the audio with another media system such as windows media player.
To check microphone problems:
- Ensure that microphone cables are connected and undamaged.
- Ensure that default microphone is set to the microphone you are using.
- Ensure that microphone is connected to the correct input on the PC.
- Please test whether microphone works with any playback software.
Refund Request
Keep in mind that JailATM will not refund for problems originating from you as a caller, but not limited to:
- Internet connectivity problems
- PC problems
- Browser problems

For note: All refunds requests will be reviewed on a per issue basis. The process needs time within 72 hours of the request. If your refund request is approved, then the refund will be issued to your account as a credit.

You can also do a video visitation on your mobile device. However, not all mobile devices are not compatible with JailATM video visitation. To ensure your mobile device is compatible, your mobile device will need:
- Video taking capabilities
- Chrome Browser v.57 or above
