For those who are considering to stay in the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort and are temping to make a decision whether or not you should book, here are some reviews given by the US New Travel users and the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort guests:

    • Another great stay! The weather was lovely and the views are superb! We ate at the Set and enjoyed the free glasses of wine. It wasn’t fancy but the servers were polite, the food was good, and the sunset views seal the deal! We were in a handicap room facing parking lot but didn’t spend much time in the room so not bothered by that. The train starts around 7am and last one around 10pm. Ear plugs were fine to ease any noise nuisance. We walked to Jenine’s for breakfast (across from Wharf) and later walked from the hotel to the Funk Zone for wine tasting. It is about a mile each way but not difficult. Watching the ocean and taking in the beauty of this city just makes time fly and you don’t even realize a mile has gone by. I love the location of this hotel! Will be back. P.S. many complain about resort fees but all that info is on the website. Don’t be mad at the hotel because you chose not to read the fine print.
    • Spent 2 days at this property in late February. This is generally our go to property due to location, amenities and Hilton benefits. We will be back again. Positives: clean, lots of room in lobby to relax, comfortable rooms, good food options, accommodating staff, nice facilities (gym is newer with 2 Peletons, 4 treadmills and dumb bells; they had 2 foosball tables and a ping pong table also which go a long way with kids), and proximity to beach, restaurants and other activities. Negative: Be prepared to pay $30/day for parking; and $30/day for resort fee (which includes access to bikes, internet, and a wine or coffee each day).
    • This Hilton is right across the street from the beach, but it is a main street so don’t expect sounds of the water or a walk out to the sand. The property is very nice, rooms are clean, but there isn’t anything inspiring about the dining. If you are the type to walk everywhere this hotel adds roughly 1 mile to your day as it’s a bit removed from the DT Santa Barbara area. The walk is fine, but the park next door is where people sleep overnight so keep that in mind if you are walking late or early in the morning. The resort fee is $30/night so be ready for that. We don’t use our vacation time to use hotel amenities so the additional expense is an annoyance to us. This might be more suitable for families or people who will be using the swimming pool or tennis courts. They also had bike rentals, but it was a 2 hour time and we take off for the day once we’re up and ready.
    • Had booked a suite. Upon arrival was told the previous customer had extended her stay and they had switched us to another one. Our “new” suite was right next to an outdoor exit door and an ice machine. The exit door slamming followed by the sound of ice went on all night long. The sofa bed in this suite was the most uncomfortable ever. We requested a new room several times without success. Very disappointing for a Hilton.
