Introducing CIDNET Broadcast App
CIDNET Broadcasting app is the name of an app created by no one other than CIDNET. Just like Enquire, Content, Commissary, Letters, and Law Library, it is also included in Operations Apps. This app is designed to modernize information sharing. Unlike the common sheriff’s offices or jails that usually share information to both inmates and the staff by hanging pieces of paper on walls, with CIDNET Broadcast app, they can do it on screen. The signs are displayed on the screens mounted to the walls of the facilities housing areas. They act like information billboards. They answer questions before being asked by the viewers. Apart from that, they also share a few things such as jail policies, visitation rules, and compliance information 24 hours a day.
Benefits of CIDNET Broadcast App
There are a lot of benefits of CIDNET Broadcast app, such as:
- The format of the things broadcasted on the screens is eye-catching, which can attract people to read the content even if they have seen it before.
- As everything is shown on the screens, it eliminates paper clutter and waste.
- There is no risk of paper being ripped off the wall and there is no risk of the content to lose.
- The content can be shared to a specific area. For instance, the information that is shared in inmate housing units can be different from the ones seen by those who are in the lobby.
- The staff can save time as they don’t have to print and manually distribute pieces of paper.
- The professional graphics team can save time because they can manage the screens remotely from their desks.
- It can be managed from one software interface.
Types of Signs Broadcasted on Broadcasting TVs or Screens Mounted on the Wall
The types of signs that are shared to inmates through the broadcasting TVs or screens mounted on the wall are the ones that have the information about a few things such as rules, policies, and announcements. Here are some examples of these signs:
