Most Pokemon can be evolved in the same way in Pokemon Go. What you have to do is to collect the required number of Pokemon Candy and then press the evolve button. In Pokemon Go, there are some Pokemon that have unique evolutionary requirements. One of them is Wurmple, which has a unique evolutionary system.
When you choose Wurmple as your Pokemon, you may already know that it can evolve into Cascoon and Silicon. Evolving the Wurmple into both Cascoon and Silicon is pretty easy, as long as you already have the Wurmple Candy.
Is There an Evolution Trick to Evolve Wurmple?
As we’ve mentioned, evolving Wurmple into Cascoon and Silicon is pretty easy. It means that there’s no ‘trick’ to evolve Wurmple, not a night or day method, just like the Eevee. All you can do is to only cross your fingers and hope that Wurmple will evolve into the desired Pokemon. You actually can evolve Wurmple after you have collected about12 Wurmple Candy.
You may think that this is an easy way, whereas that’s not. In this case, Wurmple will evolve into either Silicon or Cascoon randomly. It means that you will not know which Pokemon you will accept when you press the ‘Evolve’ button. Of course, it could end up with duplicate Pokemon on your quest to get one of each.
Then, how to evolve Wurmple into Silicon? You can start to evolve Wurmple starting at level 7 into a Silicon, depending on its personality value. At the level 10, Cascoon and Silicon will evolve again into Beautifly or Dustox respectively, after you have collected 50 more Wurmple Candy.
At the time, Wurmple will evolve randomly in Pokemon Go. It means that you have to catch as many as you can to get the evolution that you want. Need to know, the gender of Wurmple will not influence its evolution.
You should know that Wurmple’s evolution is similar to Eevee’s evolution, though it is a bit harder to track down how to evolve Pokemon into the evolution as you prefer. Additionally, Eevee is going to evolve into Flareon, Vaporeon or Jolteon that can be determined by granting Eevee a nickname.
Wurmple’s Appearance
You can see that Wurmple is a Bug-type, small Pokemon that looks like a Caterpillar. Wurmple was introduced in Generation III. However, a lot of PoGo players said that Wurmple is not the most interesting Pokemon. Why? That’s because it is a lowly bug-type Pokemon. But one thing that you need to know is that Wurmple is such a unique Pokemon to evolve.
When you attempt to evolve Wurmple, it will evolve down one of two unique lines of evolutions, they are into Silicon and Cascoon. To prove that Wurmple is a unique Pokemon, you can try to use it in PoGo instead.
Talking about Wurmple’s appearance, Wurmple has a red body with a cream underside. Its eyes are large with yellow color and dark pupils. One sharp yellow stringer is also featured on its head and two of them on its rear.
With a smaller spine behind, a tall, red and erect spine can be found behind Wurmple’s forehead. With five pairs of subby white limbs, Wurmple also has small spikes that run down the top portions of its body. You can see the Wurmple’s suction pads found at the tips of its feet. However, its suction pads allow it to cling to tree branches or glass without slipping.
When Wurmple is exposed to the air, it can spit white silk that is turning gooey. What makes Wurmple dangerous is that it is able to release poison from its tail spikes. Its poison can weaken foes.
In order to defeat Wurmple, you need to find it before in the forest. Wurmple can also thrive by eating leaves to feed on the sap and pulling bark off trees. For more information, the natural predators of Wurmple are Swellow, Taillow and Starly.
