To solve this issue, you will need to reinstall the game and then ensure you download the version which matches the realm. If not, you are going to end up with this error. Of course, it is very important that you use the exact same version as the realm.

  • Ensure That Your Friends Have the Same Version as You

If you own a realm and your friends cannot seem to connect to your realm as this issue, then the same formula may be applied to them. The reason why they cannot connect to your realm is that they are using an older or newer version of the game. In those two cases, they will need to download the same version as the one installed on your computer/PC. Doing so will be able to result in you and your friends being able to play the game in the same realm.

To change the game version in the launcher:

    • Firstly, click “Installations” on the launcher start page.

    • Next, choose a name for the installation and then choose the game version in the “version” drop down list.

    • Please press “Play” in the top menu to take you to the launcher landing page.
    • In the drop down menu to the left of the “Play” button, now you are able to find your saved installation and select it to play this version of the game.
