CareSource is considered a nonprofit. This one started as a managed health care plan that serves the members of Medicaid in Ohio. As of now, it provides public health care programs. These programs provided by the company that is headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, the United States include Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace. The company is undoubtedly popular. It is named as the biggest Medicaid plan in Ohio and is second in the United States.
If you are a customer of CareSource, you will need to bring your CareSource insurance card everywhere because it has some information that is important. One of the most important information that is found on this card is the policy number. What is the policy number on the CareSource card?
The policy number on the CareSource card is usually used to keep track of your medical bills. It has the ability to identify a CareSource member. What about the back of the CareSource’s Marketplace ID card? As for the back of the CareSource’s Marketplace ID card, you will be able to find the statement that the card does not guarantee coverage. The last example is the CareSource Medicare Advantage member ID. On this card, the policy number is called “Member ID#”. Just like the cards above, it is also located under member name and above health plan. Just like on the Ohio Medicaid member ID card, this number also consists of a total of 11 digits. In addition to the policy number, there are also some other ones on the front of this card. The other ones include member name, effective date, health plan, payer ID, RxBIN, RxPCN, RxGRP, and copays (office, spec, ER, and UrgCare). If you are wondering about the back of the CareSource Medicare Advantage member ID, it looks similar to the CareSource’s Marketplace ID card. On the back, there is the statement that it does not guarantee coverage and some contacts.
