About PvP In Halo Infinite
The first run of the Halo Infinite beta will end soon. 343 Industries has selected to enable 4v4 Arena multiplayer in the game. This gives the players a chance to try the multiplayer against other players instead of the bots, which no doubt lots of people have been waiting for.
Like the matches against the bots, the players are able to duke it out across three different maps in PvP. For your information, those three different maps PvP in Halo Infinite are Live Fire, Recharge, and Bazaar. All three different maps have unique layouts and lots of weapons and equipment pieces to utilize, and it will be exciting to see how well the Halo Infinite sandbox holds up in a PvP environment. Keep in mind that the PvP is only going to run for a short time.
The players are able to enjoy 4v4 Arena PvP during the beta test. While the 12v12 Big Team Battle and Arena are going to be available next weekend. The players will be able to play a new vehicular Arena map which is called “Behemoth.” Also, the players will be able to use a new weapon named the Shock Rifle which deals many damage and allows the players to map objects. In addition, the players are also going to have access to matchmaking against AI bots and an offline training mode which allows the players to play against bots with training wheel features like invincibility or infinite ammo.
You have to know that unlike the previous Halo Infinite beta test, matchmaking against other players and AI bots are only going to be active during certain hours on each testing day. Matchmaking will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. PT or 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET.
