What is a Levequest FFXIV?

When you play Final Fantasy XIV, you need to know what Levequest is. Here, you will find what Levequest is and also the other information related to Levequest such as the types of Levequests and Levequest locations.

What Is Levequest?

When you play Final Fantasy XIV, you may wonder what Levequests are. These are repeatable quests that you are able to do to get various rewards. It means that levequests are able to be done again and again as long as you have Leve allowances.

If you want to start a Levequest, the first thing that you have to do is to have a Leve Allowance to spend. Then, you have to view the quest journal entry and then you have to click on the Initiate button which can be found on the bottom.

How to Unlock Levequests

As explained on the FFXIV Guild site, after you unlock the Levequest System, all Level 1 and 5 Levequests are automatically unlocked. It is important for you to note that Levequests are unlocked every 5 levels from level 1 to 45 and every 2 levels from 50 onwards.

Beginning from Level 10, each batch of Levequests need to be unlocked by talking to the respective Levemete. A trial Levequest will be given by them to you where it does not reduce allowances. A trial Levequest is given to prove that you are ready for the task.

It is important for you to note that when changing Class, you have to make sure that you finish your Level 10 class quest from the Guildmaster to unlock Levequests for the new class you are leveling. Any Levequest can also be accepted by you in the region that you have unlocked through the Levemetes in the Adventures’ Guild.

There are several types of Levequests which can permit you to scale their difficulty. You are able to select a difficulty of up to +1 to +4, usually adjusting the level of the monster. Naturally, if you scale up the difficulty, the rewards will also increase.

You may wonder how often you will get Leve allowances. The answer is 3 Leve Allowances every 12 hours.

Types of Levequests

According to the FFXIV Console Games Wiki, there are 5 types of Levequests as you can read below.

    • Battlecraft Leves
These are the most common types of levequest and these can give EXP for combat. These are levequests for your Disciples of War or Magic classes and jobs. Here, you are required to complete specific combat related objectives in a time limit where the objectives are kill missions, investigation missions and escort missions. When a Levequest is initiated, you have the option to adjust the difficulty. If the difficulty is greater, the level of enemies will be higher as well and the rewards will also be greater. After a Levequest is started, the locations of the targets are shown on your map. There will be silver card icons above the target monsters’ head. If you do these in groups, it can make even a +4 difficulty Levequest very easy and good for farming fast EXP.
    • Tradecraft Leves
These are for your crafting classes and these leves are different from the other Leves. You are required to deliver specific crafted items to the client, with no time limit. After delivering the items, you complete the mission. If you have high quality versions of the items, it will give you greater rewards. If you have completed a tradecraft level, you will be given experience for that crafting class.

      • You will get 100% additional experience if you have High Quality items.
      • You will get 33% additional experience per item if you have High Quality items, in the case of 3 items Leves.

From level 1 to 49, levequest location givers are dependent on the class. From level 50 to 59, all Tradecraft Leves will be in Foundation, quest giver Eloin.

    • Fieldcraft Leves
These are levequests for your gathering classes. You are required to complete specific gathering related objectives in a time limit. The objectives range from visiting specific locations to gathering a specific number of items. If you have completed a gathering leve, then you will be awarded with experience for that gathering class.
    • Grand Company Leves
These are combat quests available only to the members of a specific Grand Company. You have to talk to an officer of the Grand Company to accept these quests. If you have completed these leves, you will get Grand Company Seals and also experience. Grand Company Leves are able to be performed by you for any of the 3 Grand Companies and you can get seals for their own. Let’s say that you perform Grand Company Leves of your own Company. If so, bonus experience and seals will be yours.
    • Temple Leves
These are a new form of Leves and you can find them in Ishgard and other 3.0 areas. You are able to choose from Battlecraft Leves, Fieldcraft Leves and Tradecraft Leves same as normal Leves. However, in Temple Leves, you are able to undertake large-scale levequests which need ten leve allowances. Even though these levequests are harder, they offer greater experience and also item rewards. It is important for you to note that 10 times the Leve allowance is required for large-scale Temple Leves and these reward 5 times the EXP and are slightly harder.
